This place is really what the name says, a hostel. So do not expect a brand new and shine building, but a very friendly place with character! The hostel staff is very nice and helpful and the garden is a magnificent place to relax in! When you have a car, this is a good location to explore the Everglades and... More

Stayed at the Everglades International Hostel for a couple of nights. Met really nice people (and had great conversations) with guys/gals from all over the world. One of the guides at this hostel showed us the Park (took us to the Anhinga Trail and gave us a kayak tour).

The hostel is a really cool place and I had a nice stay. Unfortunately, when I got back home and I checked my credit card statements, I realized that I was charged twice the price of my stay. I've written many times to the hostel staff to have an explanation and be refunded, but I've always been ignored.

Such a cool spot! Friendly staff and clean rooms! We would certainly stay again. We stayed in the Library room and loved the space...a little close to the coming and going crowd so if you want to sleep late it may not be the spot for you. The area is safe to walk around during the day, but don't walk... More

Spent 2 months backpacking (as in travelling with a backpack and living at hostels) in USA and this is my favourite hostel. If you want a great atmosphere and with great I mean friendly, unique and hippieish then this is the place for you. This is one of those places that has the same feeling as the coolest hostels in... I've stayed here about a dozen times over the past ten years or so, with 3 or 4 different friends (or GFs actually), and ALWAYS had a wonderful time!!! The folks who run this place, and all the volunteers, and especially Owhnn, are the best!!!! It is tough to find a place that is more fun, and has a better... More

We loved our stay here! It was a big highlight of our trip. The outdoor common area is out of this world and really really cool...a great place to hang out feeling the vibe and meeting interesting people from around the world. The owners have really created a very special place with a very special feel that compares with some... More

Three of us stayed in the library room. Very comfortable place with books to choose from. Our room had window air conditioned and a fan. Had a shower room and separate toilet space, wish they had fans or windows. Shared kitchen had everything we needed. Free breakfast pancake ingredients to make your own were awesome! Great vibe outdoors. Met some... More
