I've stayed here about a dozen times over the past ten years or so, with 3 or 4 different friends (or GFs actually), and ALWAYS had a wonderful time!!! The folks who run this place, and all the volunteers, and especially Owhnn, are the best!!!! It is tough to find a place that is more fun, and has a better... More

We loved our stay here! It was a big highlight of our trip. The outdoor common area is out of this world and really really cool...a great place to hang out feeling the vibe and meeting interesting people from around the world. The owners have really created a very special place with a very special feel that compares with some... More

Three of us stayed in the library room. Very comfortable place with books to choose from. Our room had window air conditioned and a fan. Had a shower room and separate toilet space, wish they had fans or windows. Shared kitchen had everything we needed. Free breakfast pancake ingredients to make your own were awesome! Great vibe outdoors. Met some... More

After the Ragnar Relay from Miami to Key West, I wanted to stay a few days to explore Everglades National Park. The Hostel in Florida City was the perfect place to stay and offered a kayak tour with a great guide, Jeremy Bishop, to take me slogging through the marsh, kayaking the mangroves, bird and alligator watching and a botany... We booked for 5 days in the courtyard with our tent. The environment is what we were expecting to get a relaxing and peacefull moment. The city itself is not really attractive but this hostel makes all the diffrence. Prices are really affordable, staff ils adorable, tours are really interesting (with attractive prices as well). The two guides Jeremy And... More

Everything about this place blew me away. I was traveling alone and I felt right at home here. The full kitchen was the best part. I was able to save alot of money by cooking there and there was TONS of free food! The staff was so nice and fun to be around. I will surely be back! Thank you... More

We arrived at the hostel not really knowing what to expect after finding it online a few weeks earlier. We booked a private room, and it was very clean and cozy. The bathrooms and common areas (our room was located off of the library) were all well kept. The whole hostel had a very lived in and fun feel. The... More

Amidst the chain stores near route 1 and the panaderas to the west sits this little oasis of a hostel. If you're heading to Everglades National Park, I can't imagine why you'd stay elsewhere. The rooms are comfortable and the "back yard" is a green space of hammocks, a screened gazebo, a yoga/meditation tent, and a multitude of spaces to... More
