Took a chance booking 3 nights  & was glad that was all.  Way too  old and  not too clean.  The walls are 1960's  plastic-like with paneling in the "kitchen" area,and at the ceiling are wood 1x2's-totally unfinished. Beachside Motel doesn't have all the amentities of other place with private beach access, but it's also not as expensive as those other places! We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay in a ''basic'' motel room. My family spent 5 days here in an efficiency unit (galley kitchen with microwave, toaster, large dorm fridge, plates...etc). The unit was clean, the housekeeping crew was friendly and considerate. Let us begin with the negatives, as far as I can remember right off the top: I was quoted $120 a night over the phone at time of reservation. Upon arrival, it was over $300 for 2 nights, either because of a tennis tournament on the island or one night of the 2 being a weekend night, I don't know.... more
