We only got to spend one night at this great B & B. Wish we had longer. It was lovely. David and Julie were great hosts. They met us and showed us around, while preparing a "happy hour" or "adult time out" , on the back patio by the beautiful pool. The room was comfortable, clean , and inviting. The... More

This bed and breakfast was perfect! The rooms were beautifully decorated and the pool was so relaxing. The location was convenient - it was just a few blocks away from downtown. Most of all, Julie was so welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed "happy hour" on the porch each evening and looked forward to her beautifully presented (and even more delicious)... More

Thank you for kind review. We secretly admit that we're not sure who enjoys happy hour more us or the guests! We find that a lot of guests are also pleasantly surprised and pleased how easy it is to walk to all the terrific restaurants shops and galleries downtown. We hope to see you both again soon! More

We were here for 3 nights nearing the end of a road trip in United States. Our stay stay at Blue Heron Inn was an absolute highlight of a great vacation. The Inn is located in historic district and walking distance to most everything. It is a lovely building, charming home, immaculately kept. We parked on street at the door.... More

Although we only stayed for one night, we were extremely satisfied. The room we stayed in was perfect. The house is absolutely beautiful and the inn keeper "Julie" was so warm and friendly. The breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious !!! We highly recommend this B&B to anyone who would like a great and relaxing encounter.

My family and I celebrated my Mother's 60th Birthday and my birthday over Memorial Day Weekend at the Blue Heron Inn. My husband and I stayed in the Compass Rose room while my parents were across the way in the Princess Amelia Room. The Inn has so much character. You won't get this type of experience at a hotel. Julie... More

Thank you so much for your kind review. We so enjoyed hosting you and getting to know your parents as well as your sister (so glad she was able to make it)! We love staying at the Blue Heron. Innkeeper Julie was wonderful. Even accommodated us in the evening. Stayed twice to and from Florida. Posted breakfast the evening before. Rooms immaculate, breakfast was delicious. Beautifully appointed furniture. You could eat on the porch. Lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. What a great place to stay and a lovely swimming... More

We were totally impressed with the Blue Heron Inn. It would be tough to match the beauty, location, food, and hospitality. Julie even made that all better! We started with lunch at Bretts, did a little shopping, enjoyed a guided tour of the museum learning about the history of Fernandina Beach, and had a delicious dinner at Espana. After a... More

We are so glad you had a wonderful time here in Fernandina Beach and at our inn. We love sending guests to our little museum because it gives them such a feel for the uniqueness of this "isle of eight flags". Wasn't it neat that they converted the old jailhouse to the museum? Hope you enjoyed your golfing and we... More
