Our stay at the Hampton Inn on Amelia Island was fantastic. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was wonderful and the location and rooms were perfect for us. Amelia Island is a friendly, laid back place and the staff shared that friendliness. Our room was neat and clean. Everything was in working order and it was large enough... More

Thank you for your 5 star review! We are very glad that you and your family had a great time here at the Hampton Inn and Suites Fernandina Beach. There is so much to do either downtown or around Amelia Island and we hope you will come back and stay with us to enjoy the island all over again. More

This hotel was great. First, you can't beat the location! It is in the historic downtown where you can walk right out the hotel to courtyard restaurants and shops. The ambiance is nice, as the historic downtown stretches for blocks. It is also less than a 5 minute drive to the beach... just head down Center Street to Atlantic Street... More

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. My only complaint is that the breakfast, included in the price of the room, needs more nutritious and fresh options. The oatmeal with fixings was great. I ate it 3 out of the 4 days I was there.

Super friendly and helpful welcome by Troy, who took the time to point us in the direction of some local stuff. The room was perfect for us , we had a Queen suite and it was a good size, very comfortable and nice and clean. The location was perfect for a short walk to all the shops and restaurants, along... This was a great hotel. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The kids had a great time. It isn't very close to the beach, but lots of other things to do. Also the train is right by the hotel. It didn't bother us, but you could definitely hear it.

We stayed for four nights at the Hampton Inn Historic District in Fernandina Beach. The first thing that strikes you when you walk in is the beautiful lobby. There is a sweeping, spiral staircase up to the 2nd floor that is just lovely! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean. The pool is small, but... More

If wanting beach vacation, or nicer side of island, the other Hampton is best bet. If you enjoy being in the thick of things with walking distance to restaurants and shopping, or want suite, I would recommend this Hampton. Needs updating but maintenance was responsive and staff very friendly. Trains did not bother us, but they do blast horns around... More

Great location in the historic area of Amelia Island. Clean, comfortable rooms. Quiet and safe area. Walk to many restaurants, shops and historical landmarks. Very quaint. Breakfast was very good...waffles, eggs, a variety of fruits, pastries, breads, yogurts etc. Can't go wrong choosing this Hampton! Free parking, too!

Across from the Marina and inside the Historic District, you can easily access many of Amelia Island's attractions within a short walking distance, such as Cruises, Trolley Tour Museums, Restaurants and Shopping. Friendly service and nice amenities, including an awesome and varied breakfast. Nice quality at a reasonable price.
