The property is slightly worn and mostly clean. We were given a quiet comfortable room. The pool was well maintained and adequately heated. The location is ideal for the historic district shops, restaurants and the pier. You will have to drive if you want to go to the beach. There is plenty of beach parking and easy access. The parking... more

Very nice hotel right in a downtown area of Amelia Island. Located across the street from a small marina in a very pedestrian friendly town with lots of little shoppes and places to eat. Extremely clean and the service is probaly the best I have ever gotten at a Hampton. The hotel itself appears to have been built as a... more

The hotel was very clean and the staff was wonderful. We upgrade to a suite and the room was so big you could have a party. The bed was very comfy, and location was great. small little island town everything in walking distance or bike ride. We brought our bikes and tour the neighborhoods. Great place to bike. The front desk... more

Had a nice stay. We stayed on the 4th floor and had a problem with our A/C (froze over) at about 9 PM the first night we stayed. Cindy at the front desk was VERY nice and understanding and gave us the room that was attached (and vacant). This enabled my wife to move without getting out of her night... more

Decided at the last minute to head out of town for nicer weather at Amelia Island and was happy to see that I could still book at room at this lovely hotel. I selected this particular hotel due to the great reviews here on Tripadvisor. The reviews were right on. This Hampton has an excellent location - right in the... more

We made a last minute decision to spend the night here en route from Florida to NC. It was definitely the right choice. The front desk staff - from initial contact through check-out was truly gracious, helpful, and welcoming. We requested a suite, and I was thrilled with what we got for the money. It was immaculate, spacious, with cozy... more

Hampton Inn and Suites is in a great location--in the interesting historic district of Amelia Island --and unlike some of the mega complexes, feels like a small, quality hotel with a very convenient location to unique shops, bookstores and restaurants. There is a pier behind the Inn that you can walk down to and you can walk to a beautiful... more

We stayed here to break up our drive from NC to Orlando, FL. We did a little research about areas to stop along the way and Amelia Island looked like a cute little town with some good restaurants and not too far off the interstate. We chose this Hampton Inn because of the price and the location and were not... more

Our family of five stayed two nights over Christmas when visiting for a family reunion. The hotel had a nice atmosphere. We got a suite, tidy with a lot of space. Or as tidy as it can get with all these wall-to-wall carpets that every hotel room in the US seems to be having. Well working internet access, though not... more

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent. The staff however could not be described as friendly. The manager appears to be attempting to micro-manage the employees rather than empowering them the meet the customer needs. Our maid routinely forgot something; whether it was to clean and restock the coffee, to vacuum the rug, to leave clean towels. On... more
