We had the Explorer's Suite. On its website, the apartment looked great, but as we got there, well it was smaller than expected. Actually, kinda tight .... and grimy... yup, grimy. The reception is really friendly and helpful, but the rest of the staff are NO SHOWS. We had a problem with the sink backing up and called it in... more

We were supposed to stay in the Governors Suite. "Scenic Ocean View, Queen sized Slegh Bed, Kitchenette..." The photos were really appealing. You absolutely can not check in until 4:00. The rental office closes at 5:00, so by the time you get to the room and discover what you just paid over $250.00 per night for, the office is cloaes... more

We stayed in the Governer's Suite with another couple. It has two bedrooms and 1 bath. Overall it was very dusty and in very poor repair. The windows would almost come out of the frames if you tried to open them. The smaller bedroom was on A1A and was very noisy. The other bedroom was bigger and had good views.... more

We stayed in the Explorer the first night. As some of the previous posts say, a section of this room seemed dusty & not as clean as we would have liked. Additionally, the bedroom part was right along the road & traffic was loud at times. The last 2 nights, we switched to the larger Admirals room. What a difference!... more

Needs a thorough cleaning, if allergic to dust you’ll have a real problem. Worst value for $$ I’ve had in B&Bs, apparently no attention has been given to detail for some time. The “breakfast” advertised was less than full service; selected menus were turned in the night before, and the food brought to the room, however and somewhat common in... more

My husband & I spent one night at 1735 House for our anniversary and were surprised at the unclean condition of a place we spent $200 to stay in. There was dust and dirt in all the corners of the wood floors, thick dust under the bed, and the throw rug in the living area looked as if it had... more

Great location on the beach but our bedroom in Captain's Suite was on the busy (sometimes noisy) road side. Rooms are comfortable but cramped if you have a party of more than 2. If you are expecting more than continental breakfast, much is left to be desired. This is the only place we have stayed in the area so I... more

We stayed in the Admiral Suite for our anniversary. It has a small livingroom and kitchen (microwave, fridge, and coffee maker), as well as bedroom. Everything was nice and comfortable. The bathroom has a great jacuzzi (but no shower). The location is great -- walk out onto the beach. The property front is on A1A. It is a busy rood,... more
