This B&B has beautiful furnishings, caring hosts, great breakfasts, cozy pre-dinner social hours, perfect pillows, and comfy beds. Theresa and Bill make you feel like valued guests. They help you find the perfect restaurant or activities to make your time in Fernandina perfect. At social hour, we met a couple that were eloping and the whole event was created by... More

my son and I spent three nights at this Inn and I must say that this was the best B&B experience i have ever had! if you want the most fabulous "room" ever, book the third floor as it is not a room but a 1600sq. ft. apartment with two bedrooms, full kitchen, huge living room, a little sitting room,... My husband and I stayed here last year, in August 2013, for our 10 year wedding anniversary. (sorry so late with this review!) The place is gorgeous, quiet, comfortable beds, beautiful, old furniture, and our room had a claw foot tub. We didn't mind the walk to the main street area as it was nice stroll and helped us work... My husband and I decided to elope using Fairbanks House's Elopement Package and it was the best decision we could have made. Bill and Theresa took care of every single detail and we did not have to worry about a thing. The house is beautiful and all of the amenities were top notch. Breakfast was delicious and fresh each morning,... More

My Partner and I wanted a quick weekend getaway to Amelia Island and the Fairbank House was just the place to do so! The Inn in and of itself is beautiful however, partner that with the hospitality of the innkeepers (Theresa and Bill) and the rich history of the area there is no way this weekend could have been any... My Mom & I had the privilege of staying 2 nights @ the Fairbanks House recently, in a word AMAZING! We stayed in the Magnolia Suite which was very roomy & had lots of character. Breakfast both mornings was delicious, so much so that I had to purchase a cookbook so I could duplicate the recipes at home. However, the... More

We absolutely LOVE the Fairbanks House! Our daughter had her wedding , reception and honeymoon there years ago and 6 of us ladies (including my daughter) returned this past week to the "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" special. We stayed in the Grand Tower Suite which was fabulous and Teresa upgraded 2 of our gals to a room right by... More

This weekend was our second visit to the Fairbanks House and it was just as wonderful and memorable as our first!! Bill and Theresa truly go above and beyond to make everyone comfortable. Theresa handled our dinner arrangements in advance and even accommodated my husband's special breakfast request. We felt like family more than returning guests! The food is top-notch... More

Celebrated out wedding anniversary at this wonderful B&B. Attention to every detail, courteous, and attentive. Hosts truly enjoy what they do and it shows in the way they interact with all guests. Helpful in selecting day activities, as well as suggesting great restaurants. Truly made our stay extra special. Thanks, will be back.

There are no words to express how wonderful everything was for our elopement. Theresa handled everything and I had to worry about nothing....exactly why we decided to elope! The inn is beautiful, the meals were delicious, and the location was perfect. Perfect, perfect, perfect. I can not say it enough!
