The Addison is simply beautiful - well appointed rooms, delicious breakfast, gorgeous settings. We will most definitely come back.

We visited Amelia Island in May, and our interest was not In the island's beaches, but in the Historic Downtown area of Fernandina Beach. We were hoping to experience "village" life at its best. Our hopes were more than fulfilled by both the village itself and the fortunate choice of the Addison on Amelia as our home base. Just like... More

We went to Amelia Island to celebrate our wedding and the warm and homey atmosphere at the Addison contributed to making our stay on the Island special. We felt like we were at home. We really enjoyed our delicious breakfasts and the happy hours on the porch, where we met the other guests and had interesting conversations. The owners, Bob... More

It was a wonderful stay at this lovely bed and breakfast. I can't say enough about the hosts, staff, and the lovely accommodations! I was extremely impressed and pleased. I have never stayed in a bed and breakfast, despite my extensive business travel and pleasure travel in the past. To me, it is the way to go from now on... More

We had such a great time, we will definitely be back! Bob and Shannon were wonderful hosts. Happy hour was a lovely time to chat with other guests. Breakfast was absolutely superb. Dinner recommendations were spot-on. The rooms were very clean, well-appointed, and bright.

The yummy breakfast and happy hour gave us the opportunity to meet and visit with the... More

I've stayed in many B&B's, including some really excellent ones over the years, and the Addison definitely ranks at the top. I don't like to write long reviews, so here's everything you need to know in a nutshell: 1. Rooms = lovely, bright, airy, and comfortable. Free wifi is included. 2. Owners = friendly, funny, helpful if you need it,... More

The Addison is top notch. Owners Bob & Shannon know how to treat thier guests. I used to be a little leery of B&B's, but the Addison made me feel right at home. Everything from the exceptional cooking to the room itself, it all was more than I could have ever expected.Just a block away from the downtown shops and... More

After reading the reviews on Trip Advisor we decided to book a night at The Addison. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner who showed us around the B&B. The rooms are great, but the best part of The Addison besides the wonderful breakfast we had was the back yard/porch area. The pictures do not do it justice...happy hour... More
