The Addison was the perfect spot for our Amelia Island getaway. The room was very nice with touches of both modern and historical features, and was nice and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable. We felt spoiled the entire visit by the innkeepers, housekeeping, and luxurious touches like the bed sheets and towels. Breakfast was amazing each morning, and they... More

We stayed at the Addison for three nights as we had never been to this part of Florida and wanted to do the area justice. What a great B&B! It was as nice as The Governor's House in Charlston (although not quite as grand!) with a beautiful room and huge balcony. Bob and Shannon were wonderful hosts. The happy hour... More

Bob, Shannon and Lee know how to do it right. From start to finish, each day's stay out-did the previous. The first night's happy-hour set the tone for what was an enjoyable, relaxed and fun 3-night stay. Bob the Innkeeper is a very engaging and accommodating host. The breakfasts were outrageously delicious - kudos to Shannon. And to top it... More

My wife and I decided to stop for 2 nights on the return from Marco Island to Pennsylvania. We were never to Amelia Island but this turned out to be a highlight. The Inn itself and the historic area were excellent and provided a relaxing break and entertaining time on the trip. We will definitely consider it again not only... More

My husband and I have stayed at the Addison on several occasions and have never been disappointed, Bob and Shannon are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. The rooms are all extremely nice. The breakfasts are outstanding. And happy hour is a great way to end the day. Everything you would want to do is within walking... More

Wonderful and very tasteful rooms; the innkeepers are disarmingly friendly and courteous. There are a number of great restaurants to eat at on the island and a beautiful downtown area only 2 blocks from the inn. I'd highly recommend staying there

We usually stop in the Fernandina Beach-Amelia Island area on our way to and from the Sarasota area. This year we booked the Addison for a change. It now will be hard to stay any other place but the Addison. Wonderful staff and hosts that treat you like old friends even though they have just met you. Grounds and buildings... More

My husband and I stayed here on a Thursday and Friday night. This is the best place we have ever stayed. Reasonably priced for a bed and breakfast. The owners were courteous, attentive, and very knowledgeable of the area. They even joked with us and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were beautiful, clean, comfortable and had everything we... I stayed at the Addison shortly before Christmas last year and was very impressed. (Not easily achievable. I have a hard time choosing accommodations because one could say I'm rather picky. I'm a lover of good design, a borderline neurotic clean freak, and a sucker for a great bed and linens. : ) The hosts were gracious, the room immaculate,... More
