1. Great hosts! 2. Fantastic property! 3. Delicious food! The list goes on... Shannon and Bob really care about you and your stay. They went out of the way to show me help and wonderful hospitality. I would give them 6 stars if I could! Adam Christing

Traveling with my very chatty and active 80 year old mother is always an adventure! She chose the Addison, and it was just the perfect blend of comforting accommodations, friendly conversation, top shelf food and service. Recommendations for local activities and restaurants were spot on. The happy hour on the porch was a perfect way to end a shopping day,... More

It is always a pleasure to find an Inn such as this one. The property is very well maintained, the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The breakfasts were enough to carry you through to happy hour at 5PM. Well done Shannon and Bob! Say hello to Boots for me!

This is a five hour drive for us, but totally worth every mile of driving. We were greeted by Lee the owners daughter. She's so cute, fun, and very pleasant. Shannon her mom does all the cooking. She purchases fresh products daily. Not cutting corners for this owner/ chef. Bob her husband is there for you 24/7. You can tell... More

We visited for four nights to celebrate a "significant" anniversary and could not have found a nicer place. Shannon and Bob are outstanding hosts. Happy Hour is at 5pm with a chance to meet the other guests, and the breakfasts are delicious - fresh orange juice, a varying fruit dish, and different breakfasts. If you don't want the main breakfast... More

This is our second visit to The Addison. Starting with Lee helping us in with our luggage, it was a perfect relaxing two night visit. Our room and bath were immaculate and the towels and linens were soft and luxurious. The breakfasts were truly gourmet. Our appetizers at Happy Hour were scrumptious and Bob refills wine glasses frequently. Bob's recommendations... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. The room was perfect, including a fabulous shower. Breakfast and happy hour were outside on the porch, with excellent food and a convivial atmosphere. Bob and Shannon provided us with comfortable beach chairs as well as beach towels. We were within walking distance of many fine restaurants, shops and river cruise. We couldn't... More

We loved this place! Amelia Island is a paradise, safe, clean and warm. The Addison was so like home, beds comfortable, linens soft, and rooms well appointed. We would go back over and over! At the social we met like minded people and had lively and informative conversations about travel and reviews on attractions. Bob and Shannon were generous and... More

We celebrated our 20 year anniversary and loved amelia island. This was our first time to the island and won't be our last. Bob and Shannon are very accommodating and made some excellent food. Even for us that have food sensitivities. My sister and her husband also came and celebrated their anniversary. We all agreed if there's ANYTHING we would... More

Our 2-night stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The breakfast and the wine happy hour were restaurant-style with our host serving and keeping conversation going. One breakfast was a panini sandwich and the other French toast made from a croissant. Alternative breakfast choices also are available. Bottled water, soft drinks, fresh baked cookies, coffee, beach towels and bicycles are available complimentary all... More
