I spent eleven nights at the hotel while I was looking for a place to live in Nassau County and I love it. I stayed in one of the Queen Studio rooms and I can see what people are saying in their reviews about it being small but I have a different take on it...it was cozy.
I'm a construction guy, so I notice the little things and it is a really well built hotel. It has a fresh coat of paint, decent pictures (definitely hotel art but nicely decorated) and a flat screen TV and some decent chairs to curl up in and read a book (I read three) and some nice, high end lamps.
The real selling points though are the bed and the bedding. The bed was very nice and had an honest to goodness down comforter and if that isn't the best selling point for a hotel, I don't know what is.
It is one of the only hotels you don't have to cross the street to get to the beach from and Sandy Bottoms, the restaurant that is partially obstructing the view of the beach is a decent...
