Ample rooms with plenty of light in a magical environment for those who love observing nature. You can eat lovely lobster ,stone crab and lime pie at nearby Rock crab restaurantwhile you observe the pelicans, alligators, dolphins, etc. It is only 50 minutes away from magnificent beaches in Marco island or Naples.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the Everglades, and we felt this hotel made us feel as though we were back in the 1960's visiting old Florida. The rooms are very basic. The good: clean, two comfortable double beds, fine water pressure, a/c worked., mini refrigerator. Plenty of parking and boat launch. We did not use the pool,... More

What an absolutely gorgeous part of the country. Basic amenities but fabulously clean. Denise and her family have worked like Trojans to get the place shipshape and what a great job they've done. The view from the swimming pool is worth the price of the room alone. I wouldn't hesitate to visit The Everglades again and I wouldn't hesitate to... More

Room was a nice size, basic furnishings but a comfortable bed. Towels were threadbare, and we had to get our additional one at the front desk on the second night of our stay. No coffeemaker was available in the room which meant that we had to go out to get some. Also wifi was not available in the rooms. Screened... More

I would rate The Everglades as one of the most beautiful and peaceful places on earth. Everyone is so friendly and proud of their area, quite rightly so. Please put this area on your list of places to go to. Denise and her family have worked hard to make this hotel work. Its clean, tidy and great value for money.... More

We have stayed several times at The Captains Table and never experienced any problems. The rooms are always clean and the beds comfortable. They have a wide variety of accommodations for all types of travelers. I asked to be upgraded to a larger room on the first floor due to a knee injury and the manager agree and still gave... More

The room wasn't very clean. We found hairs in the shower, sheets and floors. There were enough for me to feel slightly grossed out. The lady who checked us in made it seem like we were a huge inconvenience, but there wasn't anyone else waiting to be helped. The only positive is that this is close to the everglades, but... More

I absolutely love The Captain's Table! I have been coming here for the past 5 years and it has been a great experience every time. The rooms are comfortable and immaculately clean, and the staff is always available if you need something. A treasure in Everglades City - visit here and you feel like you are at home and a... More

Upgraded older lodge. Our room was clean and spacious. Small window A/C unit was a bit loud but cooled okay. The pool is large and very nice! Plenty of parking for our boat. The facility overall was fine. Nothing fancy. The front desk woman needs to smile more and improve her customer service skills. I would stay there again. There... More

Everglades city is complimented by this first class accommodation. You will find it at the end of the road, but not at the end of your adventure. Great value, friendly hosts, pool,...etc. Need I say more?
