The room wasn't very clean. We found hairs in the shower, sheets and floors. There were enough for me to feel slightly grossed out. The lady who checked us in made it seem like we were a huge inconvenience, but there wasn't anyone else waiting to be helped. The only positive is that this is close to the everglades, but... More

I absolutely love The Captain's Table! I have been coming here for the past 5 years and it has been a great experience every time. The rooms are comfortable and immaculately clean, and the staff is always available if you need something. A treasure in Everglades City - visit here and you feel like you are at home and a... More

Upgraded older lodge. Our room was clean and spacious. Small window A/C unit was a bit loud but cooled okay. The pool is large and very nice! Plenty of parking for our boat. The facility overall was fine. Nothing fancy. The front desk woman needs to smile more and improve her customer service skills. I would stay there again. There... More

Everglades city is complimented by this first class accommodation. You will find it at the end of the road, but not at the end of your adventure. Great value, friendly hosts, pool,...etc. Need I say more?

I can only agree to what most of the other travellers wrote: only stay here if you must. The rooms are spacy, but very simple, there is no one at the reception most of the time, wifi only works on the porch and in the reception area, but not in your room, and your room is only tidied up if... More

We travel the USA a lot and appreciate that the most expensive does not always mean the best place to stay, during this two week holiday this hotel was by far the most expensive we have stayed in. Unfriendly service, no coffee in room, no breakfast and no housekeeping of the room during the 3 nights we were there. The... More

In Everglades City, we stayed at the Captain’s Table Lodge. We were lucky In some respects, because we arrived after dark and the other motels in town claimed to be full. Curiously, most of the “full” places had very few or no cars parked in front. Although at Captain’s Table Lodge we had a large double room, the price seemed... More

I've come to expect a small shampoo, a hair dryer, coffee, and extra towels in the room. None were present. We got 2 small bath towels, 1 hand towel, and only one wash cloth in our room. It reminded me of a motel room out of the 50's, (and that's the last time the room was refurbished!)

We stayed here during the seafood festival as it was close and not many other choices. The check-in process went smooth and the clerk was polite and helpful. Our villa was rustic with a few basics so bring everything you think you'll need. The TV and WiFi only worked some times. As I found out later all the rooms and... More

On the doorstep to Chokoloskee with ample parking for our boat, this hotel is everything you need for a night or two. The paint and carpets are recently updated and rooms are comfortable. Staff is friendly and rates are reasonable. Will definitely return.
