The Rod & Gun Club is a very historic lodge and restaurant in Everglades City. One can tell just by looking at the building that this place has a rich and interesting history. This property is truly Old Florida, a vanishing commodity. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They had recently been updated. The food was good. If you want the Ritz, go to Naples. This is a great place to base a fishing or sightseeing trip. more
