Planned to stay 1 night in Miami Beach hotel but, didn't feel right about that reservation so, I cancelled it. Found this motel in Everglades City and booked it for 2 nights instead. So glad I made that change! Everglades City Motel is nice and up to date motel. Very large room! Could not have asked for a better place!... More

Clean, very up-to-date amenities. Great desk staff. Quiet city, but great directions about what to do, where to eat, differing attractions. Minor issue: need more plugs in the room. Secure wifi was spotty, but regular wifi was sufficient. The bathrooms were really nicely appointed, and again, really clean. No pool, but none promised, either. We would stay again

Old style motel but refurbished and interestingly decorated. Bathroom looks remodeled but the tub leaks and the sink didn't drain all the way. Located right next door to a standard diner where the food wasn't bad, if you wanted to grab something to eat. But the light from the restaurant shined in the windows so therefore the blinds needed to... More

Always wanted to stay in a motel where you drive up to the door and enter your room. I wanted it to be z bit like the film Planes, Trains and Automobiles with a mini bar and waterbed but alas not to be. Instead we had a comfortable and clean room with a great bathroom. Wifi worked great. Restaurant next... More

The hotel has recently been updated and the room we had was really spacious. It has a great location for the western Everglades and Big Cypress National Preserve. The front desk staff was very friendly and made some great recommendations for where to go for dinner.

This motel is exactly like those I had always seen in the movies!! The room was very large, with two comfortable queen size bed. The room was clean, the owner (i suppose) at the reception was very kind.. Maybe the price is a little bit high, but after investigation upon other local hotels in the area, maybe.. It's on average..... More

Excellent motel, central in Everglades city. Easy walk to anywhere in town, except Chokoloskee Island where some boats depart. Friendly checkin staff, big rooms with fridge and microwave, large renovated bathroom. No breakfast available but the service station 2 blocks North has a supermarket, and there are other places if you don't bring your own. Not much hanging space and... More

The hotel rooms were clean spacious and modern. The bathrooms were also clean spacious and modern. Front desk people were very courteous, attentive, and informative. You can walk or bike to every restaurant in town and Everglades national park is just a short drive. Would stay here every time!
