I just returned from spending 3 days with Jon and Tracy at their welcoming home. Jon was the best trail guide ever and Tracy's cooking so good. My room overlooked the horse corral and I got to hear the gentle relaxed horses as I went to sleep each night. Our trail rides took us to see the wild horses in... More

Jon and Tracey are incredible hosts in a place that is incredibly beautiful. Tracy goes out of her way to prepare meals to meet dietary needs and make your experience feel like a home away from home. Jon tells wonderful stories about his experiences being an outfitter and guide for many years. If you want to have an experience that... More

Nestled deep in the Nemaiah Valley wilderness, Snowy Mountain Outift offers a beautiful, comfortable and authentic retreat experience. The Tanis family warmly welcomed us into their home and their life, sharing their many adventure stories, their music, and Tracy's fantastic home-cooking. A truly inspiring family offering an unforgettable experience!

I just returned from 5 days staying at Snowy Mountain Outfitters. It was a lovely comfortable BandB. Stunning 360 degree views. The food was terrific. Tracy and Jon and everyone made us feel like family. Campfire evenings with live music was a delightful unexpected extra at no charge!

This is one of the best B&B's I have ever stayed at! Other B&B's can give you a room and a place to sleep, but the owners of this B&B welcome you into their hearts, home and into their life while you are staying with them! Our group had a fabulous time at Jon and Tracy's. We loved Tracy's home... More

There is truly something special about this lodge. Jon and Tracy Tanis are wonderfully hospitable and make you feel part of their family. We stayed in the outdoor wall tent and it was like being a pioneer but with the comforts of modern day close by. Nemiah is a spectacular place to visit, and the horseback ride we did with... More

It was fantastic to get out to the glorious Nemaiah Valley! Well worth the travel time to get there. Our route was Seattle to Vancouver to Williams Lake, then a three hour drive through stunning scenery to the hand built log home/lodge of Jon and Tracy Tanis. We were warmly received and I can' tasty enough about Tracy's fabulous home... More

I was fortunate to be able to co facilitate a weekend retreat for a small group of women at Snowy Mountain Outfit and was most impressed! It is about a 2.5- 3 hour drive from Williams Lake, some on gravel, but the road is well maintained. There is a quaint little stop called Lee's Corner about 1 hour into the... More

Tracy and Jon Tanis have a perfect little spot and are such welcoming hosts. The facility is a log home in the beautiful, remote Nemaiah Valley in BC. The drive is about 2.5 - 3 hours from Williams Lake and the last 1.5 hours is on gravel road which was well maintained. Note that the last service stop is just... More
