First I will start by saying the view is totally awesome! Location is a matter of a few feet from the Gulf. We had an upper level condo with a great little deck area, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths. The beds were fine, only one of our showers worked however. Kitchen and living room area were just fine, even... More

Before booking at Ko Ko Kai, I had read the reviews and have to admit I was very skeptical! Then the more recent reviews made it seem as though it was a more desirable place to stay. Al in all I absolutely loved the view. In the morning we seen dolphins right from our deck. early in the afternoon we... More

Recently stayed there for 10 days. Paid $2000 for the 10 days and expected more. Pool was dirty and in a shaded covered area. Not my idea of fun in the sun. Rooms were updated with yard sale or second hand finds. Ceiling fans were filthy. Yard light didn't work, junk setting out front, tarp covering out building. Sun deck... More

My family had visited the Ko Ko Kai years ago and had enjoyed it immensely. Lately I heard that the conditions were not as I fondly remembered. The owner contacted us to try them again. Wow. What an extensive renovation! New furniture and furnishings, new appliances, new decks and the same great view. I heartily recommend the hotel to anyone,... More

We recently spent 3 days at this Hidden Gem of a small beach resort, great value with beautiful private beach. The new owners are well on their way to making this one of the most unique and interesting small get away spots in the area.....a true organic beach experience. Great staff , freshly remolded rooms with nice pool and killer... More

I write for a travel magazine and found myself in Englewood, Fl. for a assignment without a reservation. I called a few places on the beach which were booked solid. While I was out talking to a few locals, I was told to try the Ko Ko Kai as It just reopened from a full renovation, and was under new... More

Stay away, this is the most disgusting place I have ever seen. Run by drugged out drunk, rude people. Room was not ready, really? Showed us another room, upgrade, more $$$, it was despicable, should be closed down by the health department, mold, broken glass, fixtures falling off walls, beds smell etc etc. PLEASE, someone needs to close this place... My husband booked this for me as a quiet get-away from their web site. I was not impressed as I drove into the property. Looked like a junky trailer park. As my husband had already paid a deposit I decided to go ahead and at least see the room. The lady who greeted me in the parking lot said the... More
