Check-In: Buchan's is boutique and is family owned. Check-in consists of walking across the street to the corner market and signing a little paperwork before being presented with the keys on a keychain. Service: Not a whole lot of need for service, but overall the property owners were very nice and accommodating. Room: I was a little nervous about the... More

Buchan's is located at the "foot" of Dearborn, a few blocks from the Royal Palm Marina, and on the bay. We rented an efficiency which was tiny as should be expected. The room was extremely clean with freshly painted walls. The kitchen included everything you could want to prepare a meal: toaster, microwave, pots & pans, utensils, dishes, etc. There... More

Booked an efficiency for 2 nights over Christmas so my father could spend the holiday with me, my husband and my in-laws but still have a bit of space for himself. Room was clean and perfect for 1 person, plus backdoor opened onto the property's grounds which are right on Lemon Bay. He didn't need more than a coffee maker... More

Great spot on the Intracoastal. Nice docks, safe dockage. Be aware though that the entrance can be very shallow at low tide. The rooms are clean and well stocked for a few nights visit. Grills are available. Walking distance to restaurants on Dearborn Street.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom/1 bath house. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great view of Lemon Bay and the Intracoastal. Easy in/out of the water with our kayaks. Great fishing on the bay. Walk to restaurants and farmers market. Store across the street has all the basics plus live shrimp. Quiet and peaceful - very... More

Great place to relax and enjoy the view. Right on the water with dockage. You can walk to several great restaurants too. Its boat and family friendly. Quaint accomodations for any size family. Its the only place we stay in Englewood!

We love it here! Many different types of accommodations. Bring your boat and travel to beaches, restaurants or the Gulf. They also have the Corner Market across the street. You will find anything from soup to nuts, along with fishing supplies including live shrimp! If you are into cigars check out their two humidors and selection of cigars!

We found our efficency room was comfortable, clean and spacious. This is not what I would call a resort, more like a small hotel. The grounds were nice. Folks were able to dock their boats, grill or just milling about in the sunshine. The hotel is old Florida and that's what we were looking for on this excursion. Centrally located... More
