It sure isn't the Ritz, or even a Marriott but, it does have old Florida charm. Along with old furniture, windows that don't lock, screened patio with ripped screen and puddles when it rains. The bed was hard and the pillows were terrible. Thankfully there were extra sheets to throw over the sofa and arm chair. The Internet was off and... More

If you are looking for a 5 star resort with lots of nightlife, new modern units, lots of people, wifi you have to pay for, long walk to a sterile beach.........this is not the place for you"................but if you want a laid back vacation with a shell/sharks teeth beach at your doorstep, a heated saline pool, hottub, gas grills, quiet... We spent a week in what was called a two bedroom unit. It's more of a one bedroom with a sitting room and sofa bed, fine as a room for kids I suppose. The resort is old but reasonably comfortable with everything you'll need but groceries and personal toiletries. There is a covered deck with a grill and a fine... More

Spent 7 days in what should have been a two bedroom condo. This was a 1 1/2 bedroom cheap motel. The second bed was barely a twin. The furniture is very old as well as the mattresses on the beds. If you want soap, it only comes out of a dispenser, bring your own. Prevention of noise was not contained,... More

Spent 7 days in a one bedroom. Great location. Beach right outside, beautiful water! Great value. Simply had a great experience. Restaurants, Bistros, and Bars (if you're into that) are within walking distance. Shopping locations are just a short drive and other venues are nearby.

Stayed only two days wish it could have been more. Great location, great facilities....stop looking you found the right place, this is it. You don't even need a car, you can walk to everything from the beach to nightlife from this unit. In two days we found 12 large shark teeth.....love the beach combing.

Stayed a week in a two bedroom. Older building, but well-maintained with newer (comfortable) beds and a crazy wonderful view of the gulf. The pool and hot-tub area are absolutely beautiful, and with lots of chairs, no worries about securing one. Walking distance to a couple of restaurants, but with a kitchen and gas grill to use, didn't have to... More

This resort is directly on the Gulf of Mexico with a private beach with lounge chairs. The sand is a bit gritty and by the water, lots of small shells. Water shoes helpful. Fishing right from shore. People collecting sharks teeth. Most of the one and two bedroom units face the pool area with a small screened in lanai area.... More

Stayed here for the first time this August. We weren't sure what to expect after reading some of the reviews. Had a wonderful time, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Two bed apartment was plenty big enough for the four of us. Two teenage boys enjoyed having their own bedroom here. Kitchen was well equiped for 'holiday cooking',... More

Although I have knee problems, I did book this unit on the 2nd floor.. w. stairs to go up. I am very satisfied by the 1 bdrm. Would not want more than 2 people cause the entry to the bath is thru the Master. Softest and most restful sleep I've had in a week+ of traveling. Patio is bigger than... More
