The manger (Ed) and the owner (Ted) both were very helpful and nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The boat dock is great with plenty of draft, at least a 30 Ft boat in canal. What can I say, We checked in late. Ted the owner greeted us and invited us on a short boat trip with some of his friends. What a way to start a holiday weekend visit. All in all, it wasn't a bad place to stay. Ed (the manager) was so friendly to me and my fiancee and was a tremendous help to both of us. Stayed at this hotel because the location. Room 1A needs to be updated- the carpet in the bedroom was dirty and the blinds were broken because they were placed too far in and are damaged by the window locks. WOW WHAT A GREAT TRIP!! Ed was so nice and the property is breath takeing! the owner was great as well, small clean quite and with the great beach and boat docks we never left, we did enjoy some of the great resturants in Marathon overall it was a a hit!! cant wait to go back.. more
