We stayed at Camp Gulf over Spring Break in an RV. The check in was fast and simple. Our site was not on sand, but only steps away and even fewer from the bathrooms. Clean facilities and overall great pool and activities. Our kids especially liked the visit from the exotic pets. The beach was clean and clear with not... More

We recently made a quick, last minute stop here for one night and wish we would've stayed longer. We will definitely be back! Upon arrival it seems very crowded but was easy to maneuver RV in and beach lots provided plenty of space. The view was simply amazing and having the kids build sandcastles and hunt crabs at night made... More

Let me begin by stating that I messed up my reservation and that we traveled over 1,000 miles and our entire vacation was almost ruined... UNTIL... The guest services at Camp Gulf saved me. I accidentally reserved a wrong sized camping spot and they had nothing available but they allowed us to stay in the over flow lot which was... More

As an almost full time rv'er, I constantly struggle with the reviews offered by other services when it comes to RV parks. I cannot recommend this one more highly. The overall experience is a 10 out of 5. While I did not use internet at this particular location, everything else from bathrooms, to showers, to store, to other amenities were... More

The cabins are not worth the price. The room had dust along the walls and the loft space could only fit my 5&7 year old due to height. The bed room is very very small, only a foot avail to walk on the sides of the bed. Overall we were not happy for what we paid.

Sorry that you were not happy. Non-Rver's are sometimes not familiar with a cabin(park model) size. They are very nicely outfitted but they are 400 sq. ft. inside dimensions as advertised. There is so much to do here outside that people do not normally stay in them all day. We do offer a larger cabin at 1,200 sq. ft. that... More

Camp Gulf is the most beautiful sea-side place to camp on the Emerald Coast, hands down. We were treated like gold from the minute we checked in until we left a week later. The stores are clean and well-stocked, the staff is incredibly friendly, the activities for the kids are fun and affordable if not free. The pools were bath-water... More

Stayed June 2015. The reservations team which operate when you call into the phone call center done an excellent job!! Very friendly, seemed patient, and worked to help book our reservation while answering all the questions we had. The ladies working the counter in the stores were also very helpful and friendly. Our cabin was nice. Exactly as advertised, bedroom,... More

Thank you for the review. Sounds like you had many nice things to say. Sorry that you felt that deserves a 2 rating. This is a logical way to rate the park but it seems that if you are going to knock down for items you dislike it makes sense to be fair that you would rate up for items... More

My family and I just spent a week in cabin close to the beach. The cabin was spacious and in good condition. The camp ground was not well kept; meaning the bathhouses. Traveling with a family of six we used the bathhouses and the full bath in our cabin. The bathhouses where absolutely disgusting/neglected. At first when using the bathhouses... More

Thank you for the review. Our bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized multiple times per day. It is hard with the beach sand (and this past week with the seaweed) to keep them immaculate for every user. I will have to disagree that they were unsanitary. It is nice when guests know someone else is coming behind them and make minimal... More

This was our third trip to Camp Gulf, we have been coming for three years now. Here is how I feel after our last trip. The sites are nice and level, and the power pedestal's are very nice and have no issues. Since we have stayed at all three levels in this park, my choice is upper level near the... More

Thank you for your review. The most dangerous place in the park is the front entrance (not the pools or the Gulf, but the highway). When you are blocking others from getting off Highway 98 and we ask you several times to move and unhook then please comply. It is the most dangerous place in park, it is for the... More
