My husband and I stayed here in February and loved it. We will definitely be going back! It isn't super fancy, more of a mom and pop establishment, but is very clean and RIGHT on the beach, the staff was great, and it's a great value in a great location. Can't wait to go back.

The Sea Oats is nestled in the middle of a quieter strip of Crystal Beach. There are no fancy bells and whistles in the efficiency sweets, just a simple place to enjoy the view. It is a lost gem among high rise hotels and over booked complexes. I have vacationed there for more than ten years and keep going back.

All I wanted was to find a place to stay where I could walk out onto the patio/balcony each day and have a direct view of the beach, without being in a high rise of condos or a big hotel. This place was just what we were looking for! Pros: great location on the beach and in relation to getting... More

What a gem on the emerald coast! We're so happy that we found the Sea Oats - a friendly family owned establishment on a fantastic stretch of beach. Our stay was incredibly comfortable in Cabana Club 201, a 1 bedroom oceanfront condo. It was so clean and fresh, with fantastic water pressure in the master shower - must come back... More

My husband and I stay here once a year as our little get away. It is simple, clean, right on the beach. Whether you stay on the second floor or main level, you can walk right out to the beach, swim in the pool, or go for a nice walk later in the day. Staff is very friendly. If you... More

We stayed here by chance in 2013. Found it clean and affordable. Directly on the beach. Kitchenette unit for $100 a night. Walk directly from your room onto beach. You can rent cabana chairs. Nice outside sitting area. Only thing could have been better is the bathroom is very small. Can't beat the view, location and price. Rates are higher... More

This was a great hotel in my opinion! Although, we only found it by chance driving around seeking another hotel to stay at because we stayed down the street at an overpriced suite that was very nice. The bed was horrible it felt as if you were sinking into it (that hotel was over price, not on the beach across... More

Exactly what one needs for a relaxed beach vacation. Proximity to the beach is my #1, and you can't beat the proximity of Sea Oats to the soft, white, sandy beaches. Even in January, there were nice warm days, gorgeous sunsets. Friendly staff, clean room, comfy bed. A+

Hands down, Destin has the most beautiful beaches of anywhere we have been. For us, it is all about the beach, and the Sea Oats Motel is only a few steps to water's edge! We had a king room on the bottom floor and loved it. In January, the weather was sunny and in the 60's. There was no noise... More

We've used Sea Oats both times we went to destin, and have had great experiences. Great views, perfect beach, just close enough to everything to make it easy to get around. We had an upstairs unit, and we can't imagine staying anywhere else, Just very comfortable here.
