We stayed in the campground for 2 nights. The site was so big we could have parked 2 RVs in it, plus a tent on the neat, clean, gravel pad. If you haven't been to Destin in a while and need a great vacation, try the area. We stayed at Henderson Beach State Park which was clean, quiet, and extremely close to shopping, food, and the beach. The beach is accessed by a wooden board walk that is fairly flat for strollers, etc. and only open to the park campers.... more

My husband and I stayed at Henderson Beach State Park Campground in May of 2007. Overall it was a very good experience. The sites and bath houses are very well maintained.
