First, let's set the bar, I am a hotel snob, only 4&5 star hotels for me.So when I booked this hotel I didn't know what to expect. Upon arrival I had a hard time finding it. as It is located right in the middle of everything and no large signage. The parking lot is not very well marked so you... More

The location can't be beat - right on the main drag (Atlantic Avenue), steps from all the restaurant, bar and shopping action of Delray Beach. It's only a five-minute walk across the Intercoastal bridge to the public beach. But the glory of this hotel is the private ocean-front cabana club, with a restaurant, salt-water pool and beach chairs/towels/umbrellas, free to... More

A step into Old Florida's past. We spotted the Colony Hotel by the amazing color of it's tower against the sky on a quick drive by. We pulled the car over immediately and entered the most charming open air lobby with ferns, fireplace, antique wicker, and splendid happy colors on every wall. The staff was more then helpful. We booked... More

We had another wonderful stay at The Colony Hotel. The room was so clean, the breakfast was delicious and the staff so friendly. We were able to spend some time at the Cabana Club, where we had lunch. Again, the staff could not be any more welcoming. The lunch was absolutely fantastic as was the service. I highly recommend this... More

Pros: This charming hotel is close to everything in downtown Delray. Great restaurants and shops are right outside your door. They have a shuttle to their private beach club at Linton Blvd. (We drove, so I can't attest to how reliable it is.) The staff is friendly and informative. Breakfast includes everything you need - scrambled eggs, hot/cold cereal, breads,... More

We visited over Christmas weekend and it was very festive. The hotel and cleaning staff were great: friendly, conscientious and helpful. Our room was a good size and had a comfortable bed and furniture. The reading lights next to the bed were excellent! This may not be important to some, but reading is part of every vacation for us and... More

If they simply carpeted the halls and the rooms, this place would be great. They must love showing off the 1930s hard wood floors because there are no carpets or rugs anywhere. It makes this hotel too loud especially if you are looking for a good nights' sleep! In your room, you can hear every step down the hall and... More

We just got married and had all of our friends and family at the Colony. It's the MOST charming hotel in Delray, not modern which is such a refreshing change. The beach club is a piece of PARADISE. Having the breakfast included makes it so easy for the family to be together, and the price is HALF of what all... More

The Colony Hotel is a very nice hotel located right in the middle of the "action" on East Atlantic Avenue, Del Ray Beach. The rooms, a bit small, are very clean as is the entire hotel. It is a charming place which takes one back to the days of Old Florida. Free breakfast from 7 AM - 10 AM. Bar... More

My boyfriend and I spent our anniversary weekend here...we were originally going to stay at the Marriot down the street but could not be happier with our decision. The Colony has an eclectic Key West feel in the center of Delray Beach. We were greeted with very friendly service and while being taken upstairs in the original elevator enjoyed the... More
