I took a red-eye and arrived at 8 am and I was able to check in. That is a huge plus. The location is great, just a short 3-5 minute walk to the beach. Cute shops, a few restaurants & Ben and Jerry's all within walking distance. The "downtown" area is a $5 taxi ride to many more restuarants and... more

After reading some of the reviews we were a little hesitant to stay here. We were traveling with our three kids’ ages 5, 8 and 15 and we have stayed at a number of Residence Inns so we thought we would try it. We were very pleased with every aspect of our stay. The rooms were spacious and clean, hotel... more

I just spent 5 days and 4 nights at this hotel and wanted to update that the construction that people were complaining about; was not a problem. The new building across the street is finished on the outside and they were working on the interior of the building and I was not bothered by any noise. The noise from all... more

CONSTRUCTION SITE Despite no warning on the hotel website there is major construction at this hotel as they are building a new wing. Construction takes place 24 hrs a day 6.5 days a week. The noise is terrible. The swimming pool area is frequently a badly managed building site with rubble all opver the place. The hotel is an appalling... more

The Residence Inn is a nice property. The lobby is very nice and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast buffet is delicious. The rooms are fine--each has a small but nicely furnished kitchen with plates, glasses and silverware. The bedroom is adequate. In addition to a queen size bed, there was a couch but I was surprised there was no desk. The... more

My family chose this hotel because of the convenience to downtown and the amenities especially traveling with a little one. The staff (non-management) is wonderful and very sweet; however, before you think about booking a stay at this hotel you should know it is under construction. The crews start every morning at 7:00 a.m. sharp (even though the management says... more

My second time at this hotel and would stay here for weeks if I could. The hotel is beautiful. I had a one-bedroom this time which had a terrace (nice size) in the living room and bedroom. Great bed (the best I have ever had in any hotel) and bathroom is new with an updated shower. You are one block... more

Check-in went well. Got to our room - the "Studio" which was also fine. There is a mini kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and some basic dishes. Balcony overlooked the pool area on Atlantic Ave with a view of the ocean too. The first night of our stay, we parked in the space nearest to the front door of... more

The property itself is mediocre for the price (although it was during spring break peak time). The breakfast (included) is adequate but not first-class. No restaurant in the hotel other than the breakfast area, but you can go to the Marriott Hotel half a block away if you want "white tablecloth" dining. Pool is nice and fairly clean with lots... more
