We refused to check in and wished we had read the reviews first. The area is dangerous! They cited the 48 hour cancellation policy and charged the credit card for the room. We found another hotel nearby in a nice area with more ammenities offered at a similiar price. This place should be bulldozed down. Take Howard Johnson off the... more

I had hoped that the nasty reviews that I had read about this hotel were over exaggerated. Boy was I wrong. The hotel was older. Pillars along the walkway were all bashed in. The water in the shower went back and forth from freezing to scalding. Bikers took over the place on the Wednesday I was there and all I... more

One word... GHETTO! Do not stay here. Vagrants in parking lot... Room smelled worse than my grandmothers basement... Dark stains on dry rotted blanket on bed. One dead spider and one unidentified bug under pillow. Staff polite but looked confused that I was not happy with the room. In town for dog show and dog refused enter room. Creeeeepy! Single... more

I can not believe the health department would allow this hotel to remain open. There is mold everywhere and the tub was black in the bottom and around the tile. The carpet was so nasty it made you sick. I checked out. It is the most awful place I have ever stayed. I was so scared, it feels and looks... more

This place needs to be remolded or torn down ASAP. The room was dirty and smelled moldy. I really don't know how they are able to charge $70 a night for such a dump. Seek shelter elsewhere or take your chance. more

Absolutely deplorable. If this is the only place you can find to stay, please stay at home. There was NO hot water, and no water pressure for what cold water there was. There was no shower head in the shower and the bath tub was so old you would not care to sit in it, even if you had hot... more

I was horrified when I entered the room at this Howard Johnson. Unfortunately all nearby hotels were booked and I had no choice but to stay. The bedspreads were stained. The tub bottom was black. The tops of the drawers, TV, night table, etc. were sticky with grime. The bathroom smelled from urine. There was broken glass in the parking... more
