This is a neat, old hotel. Our room was pretty and clean. The breakfast was plentiful and good. There is a park down the street. However, the windows in our room were all frosted so we could not see outside (claustrophobia!). The air conditioners on adjacent roofs were loud. They do not offer complementary refreshments. Perfect place for an overnight stay. The hotel is beautifully furnished. The lobby is very cozy and a great place to chat or read. We stayed in the Art Deco room, and would recommend it. Stayed here one night 9 June 2008. Found the hotel by chance while travelling along the panhandle. It was mentioned in our guide book so we thought we would take a look. Very pleased we did.
