Stayed here for 2 nights with an RV. close to main road but actually you can hear little or no noise. There is no shuttle as per website but staff printed off google directions to parking just outside city near aquarium where you can park cars RV's etc for free. They also were helpful in locating pizza place for us... More

If you think you can get the $55 shuttle/tour of Montreal from there just think again. Reserve by 9 PM is a joke. The tour office closes at 7 PM. Alouette office says they'll make a reserv. in the morning and call you @ 8 AM to confirm with you. Ha, ha, the Alouette office doesn't open 'til after 9.... More

My husband and I stayed there in June because we were told by the office staff that their shuttle did not run until July but that a taxi would only cost around $20.00 to the metro. They gave me the name of TaxiDan whom they said KNEW their RV park well. It cost us $60.00 to get to the metro... More

We just returned (July 2014) from our RV trip where we stayed at Camping Alouette. When we looked into making an RV camp site reservation, we were looking for a campground that was as close as possible to Old Montreal and has some form of transportation. As we searched for both of these key factors, Camping Alouette popped up on... More

We made Camping Alouette our home base for the summer for a number of years, and enjoyed being there. Internet was a bit iffy, but they seem to have corrected the problem. I did private walking tours of Montreal for visitors to the campground, but am no longer there. I have moved to Cornwall, Ontario.

Ok site. We booked to take advantage of the $15 shuttle to Montreal but that is no longer available. Instead it's approx. $50 each for a tour. Subway station is about half an Hour. We ended up with a taxi which was $50 each way with the advantage of being dropped off in good location. Campground clean and tidy with... More

Other reviewers have commented about the fact that a majority of the sites are permanent, seasonal, RVs. That is true but there are still about 50 sites for transient RVers. The seasonals are all well-maintained. Do not take the Gray Line bus into Montreal. Instead, about a half-hour drive will take you to the excellent subway system where you can... More

We paid $46 per night with a discount. Then they wanted us to pay $5 per day for internet access (WiFi). We declined. And there was another charge to take a shower! Speaking of showers the restroom and shower facilities are inconveniently located. The best ones are not even near any RV site. I don't think we got good value... More

This site is located just outside of the city and is only a short drive away. The site hosts several full time lots where people with their RV's have set up permanent sites, and they are well maintained. There are a few bathroom facilities with laundry services, a small restaurant, convenience store, and meeting areas. The site is quiet and... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. Our site was narrow and not level. Luckily there was no one on either side of us. Most of the sites are seasonal with large structures built on to them. Some have their own hot tubs. Internet was $4.35 per day for one device only. We paid $38.70 per night + tax (with KOA... More
