I enjoyed my stay at this Hotel despite the fact that the rooms are outdated and they charge $12.00 a day plus tax to self park your car in a lot across the street from the hotel. The charge for self parking is probably what will keep me from returning. Hopefully they will reverse these charges in the future and... More

Andrew at the front desk, and David, Henry, Colin, and the ENTIRE valet team was stellar and took wonderful care of us!!! They always are so pleasant and helpful, in every way! Also the manager Tracey was wonderful, was constantly making the entire Lobby smile, and made our stay so pleasant and happy!!! We love the Shores Resort and Spa!... More

Spent a few days at the Shores Resort with my husband. The good: the room was spacious and the bed was very cozy. We stayed in an ocean front room with a balcony and the view was amazing. The valet/bell staff were very friendly. The pool deck had plenty of chairs. They also offer a free yoga class on Saturday,... More

We only spent one night at The Shores but we were glad we chose it over any of the others in the area. Very beautiful and upscale design - older architecture but has been maintained beautifully. We loved the outdoor pool area especially. Pools, hot tubs, several fire pits - they even provide roasting sticks and everything you need to... More

We enjoyed several terrific beach Yoga Classes at the Shores with Cindy Caron. Cindy is a very good Yogi and has a wonderful style to assist you with your practice of Yoga. From beginner to highly experienced Cindy made each class fun and enjoyable for all. I doubt there could be a better setting than on sand at Daytona Beach---the... More

Scott at the Tiki bar as well as Marilyn and Nigel in the spa provided 5 star service, they made me feel like a VIP. I highly recommend visiting this resort and spa. The spa opened an hour early in order to give us a couples message, that means at least 3 employees I know of came in early in... More

During check in I was just shy of being called a liar about how my room was booked and what fees/holdings were to have already been paid for so I refused to pay more she said 3 or more time I guess I'll have to take your word for it. Than we finally get to our room I take a... More

This hotel just falls short of the standard you would expect for the (relatively) high cost to stay there. We arrived on a Friday evening for a weekend stay. The location is on the beach and quite convenient for everything in Daytona. We found the staff friendly and had no problems on that front. Our big issue was the room.... More

Room look the same as the photos on line. Recommend upgrading to a room with a balcony. It was great to sit on the balcony and watch the sunrise and to hear the ocean at night. The pool attendant, Demetrius was awesome! He was very personable and attentive to our needs. The food at the hotel was surprisingly far better... More

Staff (including receptionists, valets, housekeeping) were very friendly and provided outstanding services. Lounge and bar area were beautifully decorated. However, I was very disappointed with the standard room, with balcony and oceanfront viewing, costing over $280.00 per night. Room's decor has plain furnishing, small and cheap frig (door fell off), non-enclosed shower stall, 'baby sized toilet', and small television. Only... More
