This hotel was very run down the patios was broken and you could see the rebar. The fire alarm was going off. The house keeper pulled it out of the wall and put it in the cabinet. Also the frist thing when we got their I had two rooms, the rooms was to adjoining. The doors was nailed and screwed... more

In a town littered with questionable hotels, the Bahama House is a jewel. The beach front property is beautiful - and with ATV rentals and a snack shop nearby, it's extra nice! We've stayed there several times, and have had spacious, clean rooms. If you can, see about getting a corner room with a beach view - they're huge! Rooms... more

I researched a lot of places before making reservations at the Bahama House, and I chose it because of all the good reviews it had. Well, they all are true. The place was clean, the staff was extremely friendly and attentive, parking was no problem, the elevators were quick, the room was spacious and clean, the view of the beach... more

From the time we got there until we left our kids had a great time. The hotel had sand toys for the kids to borrow and there were concessions on the beach near the hotel where we were able to rent umbrellas and chairs. We enjoyed some time by the pool too. Everybody was very nice and the accomadations were fresh and clean. Daytona is a great town and this is an excellent choice in hotels. I thought it might be a little pricey, but we made up for that at the free happy hour. more

This is a simple hotel--generally clean and the staff people are pleasant. It's nothing to write home about though. Times are tough and the beach neighborhood shows it.
