The reunion I attended chose this hotel for the price and nostalgic reasons, otherwise I'd be unlikely to stay here again. That said, here's an update from last year: the hotel has made improvements. The balconies were in working order and the railings were replaced. The pool is no longer under construction, and the deck area was one of the... More

Me and a girl friend of mine came to Daytona for a weekend getaway. It was the last weekend of summer. We got a balcany oceanfront for two nights for about 250 or less. The pool was great....the bar was decent priced. It was in a great location. We taxied to the clubs which was only about 10$. Better then... More

Location for this hotel - if you get a sea-facing balcony - is the biggest (maybe only) plus point. When the tide is in, the sea is only 50/60 metres away. Downsides? Well, the decor is dated and in need of repair. Our room door locked, but could not be deadlocked as the bolt was there - but the keep... More

I stayed at this hotel last year from my first time at the sunshine invitation open bowling tournament and was very disappointed. All I was told by the tournament leak and the few people I thought at the hotel that work there was they were under renovations. I was very nervous to bring my three-year-old son wife and goddaughter this... More

Ok here is my review. I am pretty easy going, don't mind older hotels growing up in S FL there were a lot of them and the ones we always stayed were decent and clean. This "resort" is very old and very tired. I am not a fan of the exterior corridors, they just aren't the safest. The room was... More

August 14-18, 2014 Stayed in a Suite on the 7th floor. Freshly painted, new carpet. Beds are comfortable, even the Murphy bed. We had 4 adults and a very active 9 yr old grandson. The two AC units were new and awesome and 2 TV's (not flat screen) worked perfect. Balcony door knob was old, but the Kwikset deadbolt was... More

The pictures are not great as it is and even they are deceiving. We had 2 rooms and both were in bad shape. The front desk staff was not professional at all! The cleaning crew came in a co ed groups of 5 and I seriously was scared they might be trying to rob us. They only came once in... More

Stayed here in August of 2011 for a long weekend...it was a budget friendly trip with my now husband. The place is rundown, dirty, smelling and in poor condition. Would not stay again, and would not recommend others to do so. The service was okay and the free breakfast I will say was good. There is a pool and tiki... More

This place is disgusting. The AC unit had mold in it and made the room smell- so I could see on the third day the cleaning crew added a powder to it to disguise the smell. The balcony door did not lock and the only working lock on the front door was the weak chain. Their was rust and mold... More
