After booking this hotel. We read the review and were not sure we wanted to stay. Called the hotel itself and spoke with the desk clerk and felt better about our selection. We did have a few problems. The rooms we booked were not on the same floor but the clerk was able to change to same floor but not... More

This hotel has roaches, nasty bed spreads, nasty bathrooms, pool does not work, staff has horrible attitudes, rooms with kitchens have no supplies in them. My family planned our reunion here and the staff constantly lied about the pool repair and did almost nothn to accommodate our family who had 23 rooms booked at this hotel! This hotel has ruined... I read so many bad reviews on this place. If you are expecting a 5 star resort, don't stay here. We had beach front on the 8th floor. The room was clean and having the kitchenette was great. The bathrooms are very small- but was not a big issue for us. The staff was awesome!

Went to our room on the 4th floor and went to bed for the night, I woke up to use the restroom and when I turned the light on COCKROACHES were crawling over my children!!!! I stayed awake the rest of the night killing them and running to buy roach killer.... More

My brother and I stayed here July 9-15th. The Saturday we got there, they were shooting fireworks off the pier, which was very easy to see from the room and the boardwalk was hopping. I booked through priceline and got a deal at $55 per night for 7 nights. I chose to upgrade to an oceanfront room for an extra... More

The location is good, the staff were ok, the maid said she would leave coffee packages, but didn't all the 6 days we were there. They do have a continental breakfast, which is also ok. The problems are the leaky AC where on the balcony was leaking all over & pretty grose to step in plus we must have killed... More

I stayed at the Mayan Inn many years ago when it was a Best Western and it was a well maintained older property, But now after the hurricane a few years ago it is worn out and should be torn down. Even the Best Western dropped them. The Mayan is "bank owned" after the new owners defaulted on their loan... More
