There is a little good ... But let me begin with the bad... 1) The elevators were either broken, slow or on some type of drug. Either not working, moving up at a slow pace and/or opening and closing and not moving at all. 2) The beds were horrible, very old mattresses and uncomfortable. Ours sunk in the middle, did... More

I find that this hotel is a little hard to rate but I have to say our trip was WONDERFUL! The Staff: VERY FRIENDLY! We felt welcome by them, they were helpful with our questions, dealt with any issues quickly, and there always was someone available. The Hotel: A great deal of the rooms gave the ocean which is awesome.... More

I am very happy that you enjoyed your recent trip to Daytona Beach! The views from the balconies at the Mayan Inn are definitely the best views in Daytona. Although some of the televisions may be outdated, some of the carpets may need to be replaced and the hallways may need some work, we have plans to address these issues... More

I have to admit I was hesitant after reading reviews for this hotel but am SO GLAD I DID NOT CANCEL. This trip was half girls vacation and half family vacation. I had two rooms reserved August 8th to 13th and we stayed on the top (eighth) floor. I was very satisfied... EXCELLENT PRICE, CLEAN ROOMS, LOBBY & POOL ...WALKED... More

Even though they were doing construction, it is a good location. Great view of the ocean. Everything is conveniently close, shopping and restaurants. The staff was very informative and helpful. The parking was tight. Over all this place is worth the money and will definitely come back.

Checked in, Joann was very kind and friendly. Get to our room and no towels (none at all). Called down 3 times, while out of room, someone threw 3 bath towels on bed (no wash clothes, hand towels or bath mat). Finally went downstairs and gentlemen took me to get towels. New TV'S in room (not flat screens) are not... More

This hotel would be great for anyone who is there only to party and does not care about their room. While we were there the clothes dryer was down and we could not get clean wash cloths. I had to go buy us some. They only cleaned our room once in our 6 night stay and then did not even... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night while visiting friends in the area. By far the grossest place we have ever been! We had this room free from our bank rewards. The elevator smelled of urine and vomit. This should have been a warning sign. Upon entering our room, the towels hanging in the bathroom were dirty and... More

A friend and I (both 25 year old female college students) recently visited Mayan Inn this past weekend and I strongly recommend staying at another property. When we first walked in, I had to kill 2 bugs inside the room. On top of that, the sheets had stains, the carpets had stains, the bathtub didn't look like it had been... More

We came to start our vacation to celebrate graduation. When we arrived the people at the front desk were already arguing with the couple ahead of us. Their room door wasn't closing properly and they were frustrated. When we checked in to our room we found the same exact thing about our door not closing properly. The room was OK.... More
