Well this was an interesting place. The door to the balcony did not shut, the decor/room/furniture is definitely outdated, the front desk personal weren't helpful but it was after 1:30am & we were asking for extra pillows that were not available, BUT the free continental breakfast area was well kept by the lady working there, she was very friendly. The... More

Not very high on this hotel we checked in on Thursday and we were told the tiki bar & inside lounge was closed do to remodeling wasnt told ahead of time. Listening to jack hammer's Thursday & Friday and dust flying was good either. The room wasn't the greatest didn't like having ocean front but also looking at a parking... More

Very disappointed. Very unkempt. Ad said they had a tiki bar. We get there and they are thinking of building one. Ad said they had a restaurant on site. They do not. Unfriendly. Not family oriented. Loud. On the good side. It is close to beach,it is located in a very good spot. Walking distance to most every thing. Pool... More

I first stayed at the Mayan Inn when it was Days Inn in 1988. It was nice, cheap, and had a continental breakfast. Now it still has the breakfast, still remains one of the cheapest hotels on the sand, and is close to the water, entertainment, and boardwalk. The only problem is it is a bit rundown. It needs a... Older hotel that is party central. Cheap prices and excellent location, but attracts party crowd due to bar next door. Extremely busy hotel and just not enough staff to compensate for the traffic. Everyone was nice, but couldn't handle the request. Stayed with travel softball team and waken a lot by motorcycle engines leaving bar at 3pm both nights. Room... More

It is not the Hilton or Hyatt, but our room was clean, had oceanview, balcony and free breakfast. Most people coming to the beach aren't planning time all day in the room. Pool was clean, chairs needed repair but they are starting a full remodel by floor at the end of June 2015. Staff was very helpful and friendly...our breakfast... More

Many things broken, not working, bugs of some sort, handicap entrance to the pool has broken latch....waited over an hour one time to get in,no maid service until you check out,all doors were chewed up,as if they had been pried open On a more positive note, the young lady at front desk...Jon Nay was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was not anything to write... More

Stayed one night. Booked through hotels.com. Front desk staff friendly. However, be advised the bar/restaurant right next door (which our room overlooked) is licensed to have live music until 3:30 am. Hotel unable to move us because we didn't book direct through them. We were handed ear plugs! Won't be back.
