This hotel was a great find. We arranged for two connecting rooms, one king with a sleeper couch and a second room with two queen beds and a full service kitchen and refrigerator. The hotel, which was built in the late eighties, had good parking that included an attached underground parking garage. The hotel was small enough so that you... more

My husband , son and I enjoyed our stay. We thought the staff was friendlly. The place was clean. No continen breakfast but there was a BK across the street. We stayed in an ocean front efficiency. Full size small fridg. sm. mircro. and sm. stove, which was perfect for us. The pool was nice. We enjoyed the jacuzz.. It... more

We stayed here two nights/3 days. My daughter says it is the best hotel she has been in. We were facing the Atlantic Ocean and the outdoor pool. There is a small and cute kitchen area across from the bathroom. Two double beds and your own private balcony. Hanging our towels/swimsuits on the balcony to dry saved us from using... more

We have stayed in this hotel three times in the past on our way to Fort Lauderdale from Asheville. Each time I chose this hotel for price and location. By now I know what I'm getting for my budget dollar, dated clean hotel on the beach. This hotel offers limited services, NO Breakfast, clean, but definitely dated rooms right on... more

We stayed in this hotel on a very wet and windy day in May 2009. Lady at the reception was friendly, we got room 304, oceanfront, beautiful view.. Liked it, was spotless clean and everything was there.. Prize good too.. Internet access at the lobby was a plus.. Parking was high from the road, so no flooding.. more

We stayed for 3 nights at the Tropical Seas Days Inn in Daytona Beach Shores. The AAA rate was 71.00 a night for an oceanfront room with a full kitchen and two double beds. Parking is located in the lot in front of the hotel or there is a parking garage located underground. Parking was easy and free. The hotel... more

I've stayed at this hotel 3 times over the past 5 years and it's always reasonable in price ($75 a night) and minimal in accommodation conditions and amenities, good for the budget traveler. This most recent time, it had sunk a lot lower. There was mold and ants in my room, a stain on my pillowcase, the cleaning service skipped... more

My family and I just got back from a weeks stay at the Tropical Seas. This is the best hotel in Daytona Beach for the money. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and assure you enjoy your stay. They have old fashioned hospitality, which is something that is very hard to find now a days. The room is clean and... more

I've read the reviews and felt like I made the best choice for my BUDGET. The first thing we noticed as we made our way down the dimly lit corridor was the smell...a little musty combined with faint cigarette smoke which us non-smokers have a nose for. The room decor was a little dated with old, dusty lamp shades. I'm... more
