ok this hotel is not near as bad as the reviews show. We have a large family and got a great rate on a 2 bedroom suite. we only stayed 2 days, a stopping point for relaxation before disney world. The paint job on the hotel is kinda tacky, and we did have a rude encounter with the first person... more

I am a choice rewards member so I get hotel points and choose this hotel because of the "free" rooms I earned. So I dont have much to complain about since it was free. My first experience was ok, I got lost and called 2 times and they kept telling me various landmarks that I couldnt find. I finally found... more

We did not actually stay here even though we had reservations. We were given this hotel as part of a package deal and when I looked at the pictures on the website I was pleased. We talked to the hotel staff directly to make sure we had two adjoining rooms, non-smoking, and we were assured that's what we would get.... more

This picture on the website make the place look glamourous. We booked a room with a kitchen. We asked for top floor since they have balconies.. but maybe the kitchen units are only downstairs. The room it set unit 108 was large, but smelled like vomit. The furnishings , bedspreads, carpet and drapes seemed all okay, but this place gave... more

We only stayed overnight on our way to St Augustine. We chose this hotel because we have a large family, and they could accomodate us. Upon arrival, the two men behind the desk (from the way they acted, probably owners) totally ignored my existance for 5 minutes. When the front desk girl returned from her break, she was pleasant and... more

Avoid this hotel. The night we checked in, the heater was not working. Front desk clerk said maintenance would check it next day, they never did, I had to troubleshoot & fix myself. After 2 days, & the deoderizser wore off, the room began smelling of urine. We spent 6 nights at this hotel, housekeeping consisted of the cleaning lady... more

The location on the Atlantic is nice, even though there is a strip joint across the street and no restaurant that is half-way decent within walking distance. The hotel lobby has that stinky cheap hotel smell as does the breakfast room and the hotel room itself. The room was dirty but the sheets looked clean. I killed one cockroach on... more

Stayed here pre-cruise on a Wednesday evening. Easy to get to and checked in early evening. Very friendly and accommodating front desk lady (sorry I didn't get her name). Lovely end room with great ocean front view. Building very close to ocean and the view truly was great. Room was clean with fridge and micro. Seemed to be recently renovated.... more

Worse hotel staff, especially front desk, I have ever encountered. Booked an oceanfront room and was given one on the second floor with no view. Was rudely told I could not change rooms even though the hotel was not fully booked. Stay anyplace but this rotten so called resort. more

A family group of 10 stayed at the Quality Inn Ocean Palms May 20 for what was supposed to be a 4 night stay at the beach. However my sister found several ROACHES in her room and we checked out early. When we advised the front desk of our findings they didn't seem the least bit surprised ! The property... more
