Pull up to the place and it looks scary, nothing like the website. No where to dock a boat expect on the rock ledges not safe for a boat. Restaurant was great. Great view of the bay. Rooms were clean. Pool and building looks like the place is falling apart, needs updating bad. Could not believe they aloud people to... More

The Port is down home, clean and simple, ON THE BAY, with all rooms waterfront and doesn't cost an arm and leg. We had planned to go to Pensacola after working in South FL after Hurricane Charlie but Ivan changed our plans. We got to the Port shortly after the restaurant had closed but when the chef found out where... More

A group of us stayed here for s scalloping trip weekend. It is an older hotel, but perfect for a great time. All rooms have a nice little balcony or view of the water. There is a nice little restaurant on the premises and a pool of you prefer chlorinated water. Tip: Ask for building A or D!

I would give this hotel 5 stars for friendliness of staff, value for money and location, but it is really a diamond in the rough. An ancient hotel from the fifties, but right on the water. Kind of glad the owner won't update it, if and when he does it will be very expensive as they have their own marina... More

Our room was in Building A which has the best view of the bay. It was a single king room with a patio and bath. I would guess that the buildings were built 40+ years ago and there is still some damage visible from the no name storm in 1993 where the whole area was underwater. We were there for... More

Perfectly located on Kings Bay, The Port Hotel and Marina has several older buildings that need maintenance. The place was fairly clean but improper materials were used and it looks kinda sketchy; the stairs had rolled asphalt roofing material on top of the landings and etc. The Ale House had delicious food, and really friendly service, but a limited bar... Had an amazing time at the port with the tiki bar, location, and price! The food and service was great! However, you don't have to be rich to be clean. Please take a little more pride in the cleanliness such as the backside of the curtains and the mini refrigerator's sealant/gasket. Small things like that make all the difference.

If your looking for shiny and new forget it. Our room was very dated but comfortable considering the rate we paid. The real plus for this place is its location. Right on the water with a great little restaurant (Ale House) next door and on the water. Rentals and tour of Kings bay just a short walk on the same... More

But do expect an older but clean room. Yes, the place is old and could use some updates, mainly cosmetic as far as I could see. It was clean and the bed was surprisingly very comfortable( but the pillows are small, bring your own) We stayed in Building A, our balcony faced the river. Beautiful ! Breakfast is barebones, juice,... More
