We ended up with this hotel in a blind quick pick from a 3rd party. Yes it appears clean, yes it was fairly quiet, and yes it seemed to have been recently redone, but there are already issues. I recommend this hotel. This plantation-style hotel was listed as the Jamison Inn on my Garmin GPS unit, so likely has recently come into the Quality Inn family. This motel was clean and staff very friendly. They had a hot breakfast with a moderate selection. With more and more hotels renovating then no longer allowing animals, we where happy to see that this Quality Inn, still allows dogs. We have a Bichon and am very conscious of our surroundings and keeping things clean. There are children and adults that destroy things, but animals are being shut out of many hotels. Excellent location off I-10, cost was inline with what I would expect to pay for this property, the staff was great & very accomodating to my requests. Came in late, and staff was friendly and helpful. Room was perfectly clean and comfortable. Morning breakfast was OK, a little sparse, but OK. Everything was in great shape. Would stay here again, although the price was slightly higher than it should have been.

Traveling with pets you usually don't have many choices w/out huge deposit. Large dog next-door barked all night. Children upstairs sounded like heard of elephants! Room was in disrepair. Bright light was Debra at front desk for check in was lovely and very kind.

This Quality Inn property was originally a Jameson Inn and has that large big building look to it. Nice, Clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were excellent. The rooms are small and the bed was VERY uncomfortable. Each bed had 3 pillows - little and lumpy. The sink was cracked and the bathroom dirty. Very over priced; we will never stay there again. On the plus side, the breakfast was ok (except for the eggs).
