Halfway through the meaty March 4 episode of "Lost," on ABC, an obnoxious fire alarm began to blare. Oy vey. We hotal guests spilled out into the parking lot. Was this a real event or a staged Dharma Initiative? A large Coral Springs fire truck arrived, as well as two aide vehicles. Thankfully, the alarm proved false, and since the... more

There are two La Quintas four blocks apart on University Drive. THIS is the one you would want to stay at. This one is 3100 University Drive on the Southbound side, the other at 3701 on the Northbound side. This one (3100) has a fountain out front and a Denny's next to it. The other looks like an older motel-styled... more

We spend 2-3 nights a week Coral Springs about every 6 weeks. This trip we thought we'd give this LaQuinta a try. For the 2 nights we stayed it was $110 CHEAPER than the Courtyard down the street where we usually stay. The hotel is an older property, but has been updated. The room was pleasant with a large sink... more

The previous review stated the damp smell was prevalent...I hate to break it to you, but that's just Florida. Florida is moldy and damp everywhere you go. If you go someplace nice and new, you don't notice it. Give it a year or two and then it gets gross and rotten like everything else. My room was clean and my... more

We just stayed at La Quinta Inn in Coral Springs FL last weekend. We were looking for a cheap hotel that was comfortable. It was awful. The hotel outside of the hotel looks fine and so does the lobby. However when we were going down the corridor we all noticed a very muggy smell. Almost like the smell of damp carpet.... more

I was sent to this area as a last minute business trip that happened to land on spring break week. There were very few hotels available and this was very conveniently located for me. Staff was not overly friendly, but this is Miami so I wasn't expecting the Midwest hospitality. The room was okay, designed as very art deco. The... more

My wife, children and I stayed the night at this hotel and the room was very nice. The photos on this link are misleading (check the hotel website for new photos). It is still being remodeled but we were in a new room. The decor is more of a "South Beach" style, marble vanity, pergo flooring when you walk in... more

We were booked and pre-paid for a non-smoking room, but were advised upon arrival only smoking was available. The room was dirty (hair on floor...), the furniture was old, but it was really the smell that was unbelievable. I never knew a smoking room could smell this bad. My daughter and I couldn't sleep, and ran out at 6A.M. Find... more

I would NEVER stay here again. The property is undergoing renovations, and I have one of the "new" rooms. The air conditioner was not on, and when I turned it on, the fan struggled to pump out any air. And it was only cool air... not cold. In fact, when I entered the room, it was 75 degrees. The "air... more

My boyfriend took me to the Wellesley as a Valentines Day Getaway. The room was nice and spacious, a bit outdated though. This place is suitable if you are in desperate need of sleeping for the night. I would not recommend this place as a resort. The pool was tiny. There were never any clean towels either. The excuse was... more
