We were spooked, after reading some bad reviews from the Hyatt Pier 66, into cancelling our reservation and re-booking at Hyatt Regency Coral Gables. Since all of our activities were in Fort Lauderdale, we had to drive an extra 30 minutes each way but the excellent accommodations were well worth the sacrifice. One element which stood out during our last... More

This hotel has some pluses and minuses: Not a bad place to stay if you get a room for under $100.00 on Priceline. Nice, comfortable, well appointed rooms. Quiet so getting good sleep is not a problem. Like other reviewer said, the pool is nice, but only has a view of other buildings. Makes you feel like you are in... More

This hotel was very clean and very beautiful. A little fancier then I usually go for but it was very nice. The people were really nice, however it was not close to a beach at all. A good spot for when you are in business.

Stayed here one night after flying into Ft. Lauderdale and driving to Key West the next day. Hotel is very classy, staff was friendly, room was upscale, very clean, well appointed. Reservations matched my requests perfectly. Grand beds led to a wonderful night of sleep. The Saturday we stayed here was the night of the Mile of Carnival a couple... More

This hotel is in a great location. Easy walk to Miracle Mile. We had a great balcony area that was secluded and were near the pool. The biggest problem is that they don't use central air conditioning!!! Everything just seemed moist and humid the entire trip! We had to call maintenance and have them switch off the power save mode... More

We came down to Florida the last week of January and wanted to split our time in an area that we could see Everglades National Park as well as other things in the Miami area. I used Hyatt points for my 3 day stay and was surprised when we checked in that we had been upgraded to a Petit Suite.... More

Location is really bad. All views are of other buildings or streets. Only stores near hotel are bridal shops. Hotel had air conditioning blasting but the rooms always felt damp and cold. Tiny fruit flies all over the place. Not that banquet food is ever really good but this food was SO bad for every meal. Very few people working... More

There's a lot of rating inflation on TripAdvisor - I mean really, is a 3 star hotel bad? No, its average = better than many, not as good as some. Seriously, 4 or 5 stars should be reserved for something special, that's what "above" average means. The Hyatt Regency Coral Gables is fine. Location is very good (we were visiting... More

We stayed here one night for rest and loved it. The hotel is styled in Moorish style from carpet to mirrors. We had a 42" flat panel screen (no HD though). All the rooms overlook the heated pool and hot tub which we really enjoyed alone. Staff was very good at recommending local places that were around the corner. Fitness... More

We had a very comfortable room here with a great bed. I did find the decor in the rooms a bit dark, but that is just personal preference. I was grateful for the free wifi throughout the hotel. We had dinner one night, and breakfast one morning, in the hotel's dining room which were both good. The hotel's staff were... More
