I chose the hotel because of its famous pool. It turned out that the pool was closed for our mid-August stay. It would have been nice to have been contacted about this before our arrival. The hotel gave us a 50% off coupon for the next summer season and arranged for the use of a nearby public pool. But let’s... More

Please know that we absolutely informed all third-party booking agents of our renovation process. Unfortunately, several third-party booking partners did not effectively disclose the nature of such. Regarding the resort fee, it includes: in-room high speed internet, maid service gratuities, daily admission to the Biltmore Fitness Center, guest's choice of daily newspaper, unlimited local calls, long distance access on credit... A very unique place. You can feel the history in this hotel. My room was great with a little balcony. Two tvs and a sitting area. The decor was really pleasand. I have spent 4 nights here and enjoyed beeing in the room since it was too hot outside. The pool us nice however all guests that use hotel parking... More

I have stayed here a number of times over a period of years. A splendid hotel. Great service and ambience. Beautiful grounds. Great food. Beautiful pool. Even gorgeous elevators. The 200 word minimum is annoying. Nothing more to be said.

My husband and I have spent our anniversary in one of the golf course suites the last two years. The suite has a beautiful view of the pool and golf course. Each time we have stayed there, the staff has been delightful and attentive. Most important, the Sunday brunch is fantastic.

The best part of the Biltmore is the pool area and the spa. It has lovely rooms, a fantastic brunch etc, but not very modern which some will appreciate. I liked it here but wasn't overwhelmed with excitement for what it offered. It does better as a place to brunch and spend as a spa day than to stay over... More

My family and I overnighted at the Biltmore and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The property is beautiful and the atmosphere is one of old world charm. Only fault was that they were doing construction, however we were advised of this when we made a reservation and the staff really did try to compensate the guests for any inconvenience. Our room... We stayed at this hotel expecting much better service and accommodation than we managed to obtain. Construction is currently taking place which they tell you about when booking. What they don't tell you is that construction starts at 6.30am on weekdays and 8am on a Saturday. Guy outside my window jackhammering so loud my iPhone can record it easily. Guest... More

A friend and I stayed at the Biltmore for just one night. Although I can appreciate its history and recognize that it’s a relic from another era, this grande dame is in need of a facelift. The hallways were rundown and dirty. Our suite, although large, was in desperate need of a new coat of paint. The shades on the... More

The Biltmore Hotel is a real treasure. First class service and truly aristocratic atmosphere. It's a place with history and beauty (really earns it's spot as one of the Leading Hotels of the World) The whole family had a great time, and everything exceeded our expectations.

I can't figure out what all the negative reviews are about. I love this hotel! I didn't hear any construction. The Biltmore called a few weeks before my arrival & told me that the pool area was under construction & would not be available. That was after the website clearly pointed out that the pool area was going to be... More
