The hotel is very grand and historical. While we were there many tours came through to see the hotel. The problem with this was that they all these groups used the bathroom facilities by the pool and were also using the bar. It slightly diminishes from a paid stay when people on a tour can also use the facilities. As... More

The Biltmore is a designated National Historic Landmark and the only operating hotel in Florida of it's kind. Therefore, the hotel is popular with tour groups, but rarely are they a disruption to our guests. This appears to have been an isolated incident which we'll address. And the room in question may have been exposed to exterior humid conditions that... More

This is a great hotel, real old world charm and beauty. Great staff - you couldn't ask for directions without the person saying, "here, follow me, I'll take you there."

This hotel has a grand, luxurious ambience. The lobby has a very high magnificent ceiling and is quite spacious. The concierge desk was very helpful. They printed our boarding passes with efficiency prior to our departure. Breakfast is served in the courtyard restaurant so you can choose indoor or outdoor seating. They offer a cold buffer option that includes a... More

We have stayed several times and recently spent seven nights in a golf suite. Beautifully laid out with highest quality soft and hard furnishings. Staff has evidently undergone rigorous training, as they were warm and respectful, doing whatever was necessary to make certain our expectations were met. Front desk immediately recognized us from previous visits and recalled our names, although... More

We just returned from a wonderful 4-night stay at the Biltmore Coral Gables, a charming old hotel with very nice amenities and an incredibly attentive staff. We travel fairly extensively, in pretty nice places & may have developed a bit of "hotel snobbery", & this was one of our favorite spots ever ... and an incredible deal. I was attending... More

I stayed at the Biltmore one night in October 2011 for a meeting. I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the pool, golf, and spa. Because of the extended hours I was able to book a spa appointment and it did not disappoint. I wish I was able to spend the afternoon at the pool instead of a... More

The Biltmore is a nice hoel located very close to U. Miami's campus. An old hotel, it has that dark wood, low light cavernous lobby but also has a spectaculsr, huge pool, which is really quite delightful (though not easy to find shade on a crowded sunny day.) Nice restaurants and gym. Only complaint - our room smelled dank and... More

we just got back from hosting a destination wedding at the Biltmore Hotel. Not one of our 120 guests had a single complaint about the service which was offered to us throughout our stay in Florida. we came a long way from Connecticut and they made it worth it. the grounds are gorgeous and the rooms are not small and... We moved to the Miami area about 2 years ago and visited the Cascade Restaurant a few weeks ago so we decided to stay for a night as a "staycation". We checked in late (about 530pm) and their system was down. We stood there, in between two wedding cocktail hours, for about 15 minutes while they attempted to process our... More

This isolated incident is certainly not reflective of our normal standards or service culture at the Biltmore. We would welcome an opportunity to personally address these issues with this guest directly. More

This is a landmark and you have to stay there at least once. My first time was 11 years ago and I am a regular ever since. Amazing location, full of history and a lobby that makes you feel in a castle. And the pool...ohhh the pool! Tips: 1.easy free parking ( skip the expensive valet). 2. Don't forget to... More

It's always a pleasure to hear from our repeat guests. In regard to the comment on the TV sets, only a handful of rooms have yet to be updated with new flat screen models, of which we're on schedule to complete this fall. More
