We loved staying at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. The room was so-so but the bed was comfortable. The pool is lovely, large and elegant. The service was a bit slow at the poolside bar but excellent in the restaurant. I left my scarf at the pool side bar but it was gone when I returned. Other than that,... More

Beautiful and historic. From a bygone era of elegance. But not really fun. Staid. Pricy. Best for golfers. You will definitely need a car. Nothing is nearby or walking distance. Without a car you are trapped in what is essentially a residential area. And the shops and dining available at the hotel are way too upscale for a casual visit... More

For full disclosure, my wife and I are members of the Biltmore Club, aka the fitness center, so we are very familiar with the hotel and armed with higher expectations from the hotel. We were staying there after hosting a large dinner at the Palme d'Or - best French restaurant in South Florida hands down. In order to make our... More

I attended a conference at the Biltmore and found it to be in dire need of renovation. The guest rooms are relatively small )at least the one I stayed in on the 5th floor overlooking the Hotel entrance), the bathroom is old-fashioned with no separate shower, and the air conditioning vent continues to hum quite loudly even when the thing... What is there to say that hasn't been said about the Biltmore? It's pure elegance. The restaurant is incredible although the morning breakfast buffet leaves a little to be desired but the ambiance when you sit in the courtyard in unmatched. You feel like your sitting in a beautiful mediterranean courtyard surrounded by he who's who of the world. Even... More

The hotel is a Grand Dame. Mosaics, towers, marble, antiquities. Something old and historic in Florida is always awesome. The brunch on Sunday is a once in a lifetime affair. The clientele: let's just say we aren't in Wisconsin anymore. Exquisite. Besides the food and champagne, there are guys in tuxedos playing piano, flamenco singers and Spanish guitarist hiding in... This is a gorgeous hotel in Coral Gables, built in 1926 in a Mediterranean style with very interesting history. The pool is 150 x 225, the largest hotel pool in North America - just stunning! Food was great in all restaurants and room service was like eating in a restaurant. Step out of the hotel right on to the golf... More

this was our first stay at the Coral Gables Biltmore. It was, across the board, a wonderful experience, from valet to check out, everything was first class. For this quality of hotel experience I felt it was very fairly priced, not over the top pricing like the Ritz Carlton's, etc. The gigantic swimming pool was a delight as well as... More

A member of the Leading Hotels of the World, national historical landmark built in 1926 ,5 Diamond iconic Biltmore hotel. Situated 150 acres on Anastasia Avenue in Coral Gables, Florida. I visited the Biltmore for the 3rd time & upon arriving the first view is the still breathtaking half moon entrance. This historic building is 15 minutes away from MIA... More

I stayed at this hotel for two nights in March with my husband. I had wanted to stay in South Beach so I was headed to this hotel in Coral Gables with a chip on my shoulder. When we arrived the hotel it was just beautiful. It had real character. My chip began to melt away with the wonderful tour... More
