I've stayed at Hotel St. Michel twice. I simply love this place. It is within walking distance of great restaurants and shops which make Coral Gables so special. Hotel St. Michel is quite a small hotel, with only 28 guest rooms. It is very quiet. What I like the most is the decoration. How not to fall in love with... More

This hotel is well located, on the corner of the Main Street in Coral Gables, close to Miracle Mile. There is parking in a reasonably secure car park across the road for a small surcharge. The entrance to the hotel is a bit strange in that you almost have to go into the peruvian restaurant connected to the hotel first.... More

My husband and I were fascinated by the decor as it seemed time stood still since the 1940's and we loved it. Staff was wonderful until the morning. We left at 5:30 a.m. because I was being admitted to a nearby hospital for surgery. My husband returned to the hotel and stopped in lobby for a cup of coffee. He... More

Reminds of an eccentric English Bed and breakfast. The hotel is very charming, and in one of the historical buildings of coral gables. They've managed to keep their charm and uniqueness in a world of chain hotels. The bedrooms are very traditional with antique style furniture and wood floors. It's clean and great location. You are within walking distance of... More

Truly reminded me of my stay in a quaint little place in Paris. Nicely remodeled in the classic style. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the time there. Known in the past for a nice French Restaurant, the fare is now Peruvian infused fare. Staff was able to accommodate an early check-in after a red-eye flight from the west coast. Very much appreciated!... More

This lovely hotel is beautifully appointed and looks exactly like it's in Paris. Notice the antique furniture, the wooden floors, really comfortable beds and thick curtains that keep out the light. I didn't eat more than a ceviche in the restaurant downstairs, but it was really good. The whole thing doesn't seem to belong in Coral Gables, but it sure... More

The positive: old style hotel with period furniture. I had a corner room which was lovely. Despite being on a busy road the windows are well insulated so no noise. The hotel is close to the Miracle Mile so there are plenty of restaurants in the area. The negative: we found out that the restaurant, located in the same building,... More

I'm always looking for something different and St Michel is different and different-good. The building is a beautiful with vines climbing up the facade. A tiny reception for a small hotel is fine with a very helpful clerk who even walked me up to the room and opened it with a traditional key. The room was extremely clean and comfortable.... More

Stayed here as a couple and it was our first visit. The staff were very friendly and were there to take care of all our needs. This true vintage hotel has everything you would see in the early 1900's, including the vintage Otis elevator!! The hotel is located so you can walk to everything. Lots of shopping and restaurants. It... More

For the price, I liked this place. It has a very good location. The staff was extremely helpful. You have to have someone operate the elevator. I would stay there again. It is a quaint place to stay. Parking is not included.
