I was hesitant to book here sight unseen, but we enjoyed our stay very much. The big draw is the atmosphere--friendly and easy going. It is easy to mingle with other guests and is very family friendly with the central grilling and picnic table area. I enjoyed the type of guests who love this place and keep coming back---down to... We actually stayed here a couple of years ago (the checkbox doesn't go back more than a year), but I wanted to add our positive review. We wanted oceanfront but not a high rise chain. This little gem is a holdover from Old Florida. If you want lots of space, updated furnishings and room service, this is not for you.... More

I gave this review a few days to simmer because I really wanted to rate this hotel higher than I did. But at the end of the day the poor quality of the room won out. Here's the scoop. It's a small, well run hotel with about 12 rooms in a quiet area of Cocoa Beach and it is right... More

Stayed two nights in April for trip to Kennedy. Loved this motel. Our rooms faced the beach and gardens. Room was perfectly clean when we arrived. Had a corner room and one bed was against the window blinds so my son lost his pillow in the night. Headboards a good idea!. Loved the location, staff were friendly. The day we... More

Okay, Jack K. You missed out on a really great stay in Cocoa Beach. The Sea Aire is truly a warm, comfortable, "old-Florida" motel. My husband and I travel to Cocoa beach every other year and we always stay at the Sea Aire. The manager is about as nice as it gets. Gary always makes you feel welcomed and at... More

I stayed in one of the rooms that faced the ocean. The view was perfect. The windows are huge. My neighbors in adjoining rooms were very nice. We saw some snowbirds who were down for extended stays as well as young couples with children. The manager makes you feel very welcome. However, on the flip side, the beds are a... More

Although we've only got the chance to visit a couple of times, any time we are asked where one should stay when visiting the east coast, we always insist they check out the Sea Aire. It's clean, well furnished and has a feeling of privacy, but be aware, book early, it fills up quickly. We found the atmosphere in the... More

I purposely picked this hotel as it reminded me of the motels we used to stay in back in the 1960s. It was exactly that! The location was great, we could see the ocean from our room and loved to drink our morning coffee outside, watching the water and pelicans. The kitchenette is pretty tiny but we did manage to... Wanted to try old style Cocoa Beach so after reading other reviews we looked at a room and knew it was a little dated. The Sea Aire is like old Florida, you just have to remember what that was like. Outside the room, there's a feeling of relaxation and unpretentious simplicity. The manager and staff are easy going and friendly.... More

Yes, the place is old. It was built when the Space Coast was coming up. These are efficiency-type rooms, so you get no housekeeping; you go and get your towels yourself and if you want to make the bed, you do that yourself. Or, if you're like us, you don't. However, just because it's old from the 1950s doesn't mean... More
