stayed here because it was the only place available in the area prior to the shuttle launch (or attempted launch) The hotel staff could not have been nicer. Friendly, helpful with directions, extra towels, wake up call, and let us stay late the next day. The rooms was fine. did not expect much , but was clean, working AC and... more

After reading some reviews, I was a bit concerned about this property but I can tell you that I should not have been. Most of the rooms have been renovated in the past year and there was an ongoing renovation process. Breakfast consisted of many items from waffles that you make to muffins and toast/bagels, etc. Cereal and "real" juice... more

We arrived at 10 pm at night and we were starving. The man who checked us in gave us out room key and made some suggestion on what would still be open in this very small town. He was very helpful. Our room when we checked in was supposed to have a microwave, refrigerator and sofa and it had none... more

Went here as it was the only hotel left that had a room for the space shuttle lauch. Paid 129.00 should of paid 9.00. Dump, never again. Front desk was nice as they checked me in and they made a killing for a [--], no wonder they were friendly. more

I actually chose this hotel because I like trains and it is across the street from a busy railroad... a very busy railroad! There is a lot of train noise. The room had a funky, moldy smell and wasn't super clean. Even though I like trains I would not come back to this place. more

My family and I stayed at this hotel the night before going on a cruise. Our room had ants crawling all over the bedside table and a bug in the refrigerator. Trains passed by all night long and you could hear them from inside the room. Overall, it just seemed dirty and I would not stay there again. more

On June 14, 2008 I stayed at The Econo-Lodge Space Center in Cocoa Florida for a wedding. I had read the reviews on other websites but thought maybe they were being too strict, besides it was cheep, and really close to the Indian River Queen, where the wedding was taking place (by the way I definitely recommend considering, if you... more

Warning - train goes by every 1/2 hour, day & night, blowing horn from daylight until 10:30 pm. It was impossible to sleep. Hotel also has noisy guests. People tend to keep their doors open & yell back & forth to each other. Our room was 2nd floor near nice pool. Voices carry from pool, straight to rooms. Rooms are... more

Let's be honest up front - I wasn't expecting a lot after reading the previous reviews of this place, but I needed the cheapest place I could find (for one night) that was still close to Cape Canaveral. This hotel sprang up at $54 a night w/the AAA rate. The highs: Reception staff was quite pleasant at around 11:30pm -... more

Don't be fooled by the facade or flags, this is an old hotel that is sadly out of date. The rooms have exterior corridors, all original interiors from the 50s, and no money has been spent upgrading them since then. Our "non-smoking" room was smoky. Our tub was moldy, We looked at several substitute rooms to move to (to get... more
