On one hand, I, and especially my wife found staying at such an antique hotel would be neat. There are some cool things, the entrance lobby had some cool antique displays. The hallway slotted doors with the old signs hanging over them was pretty neat. There was a "telephone" room that had a computer in it (would have even been... More

Charged us $15.00 extra for a breakfast advertised on booking.com. The website for the inn advertises a restaurant there isn't one. There is no bar. Dirty bathrooms noisey a/c unit. Continental breakfast was boiled eggs and toast. Couldn't find cups for the coffee. Christmas decorations still in fireplace in lobby. Not worth staying at. Will never go back.

We were meeting my daughter and family for a weekend get away. How I wish we booked the Best Western or Holiday Inn across the street! The rooms looked like storage areas for assorted chipped and dirty furniture. One room, holding 2 double beds at an additional cost, had the bathroom sink at the far end of the room. A... More

The water is Hot, the rooms are as clean as your gramma's house and it looks a lot like her place too. It's a super old historic landmark, it's cool in its own way and it's not good or bad. The rates are very reasonable, it's just simple clean and old. Not icky at all. I have stayed here off... More

This old hotel has a bit of the old charm, and real personality. Our room was big, clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful. Look around in the lobby, and you'll find some pretty interesting stuff! Alligator chairs, historical artifacts. Definitely worth a few minutes. Only negative for us: The restaurant was closed on our visit...I don't know when/if it will... More

I remember staying here as a kid, so I was very disappointed to see how run down it has become. We checked out as soon as we could! Some kind of poop on the sidewalk entering the hotel. It was there for the whole 2 days I was. The place needs a pressure washing. It looked dirty from the outside.... More

My husband and I stayed several years ago at the Clewiston Inn and loved the hotel. Clean accommodations and a fantastic restaurant... the historic charm was a wonderful addition! However, when we walked into the lobby we knew something was wrong. The restaurant was closed and the lobby was not pleasant at all. That was only the beginning. Drab, unkept,... More

Stayed here for a few days for a fishing trip on Lake Okeechobee with bass pro guide Steve Daniel. Was extremely clean and included breakfast. Try the muffins which were great and homemade. Room was small with a King bed but was perfect for 2 people. Had a small refrigerator, coffee pot and microwave. Staff was extremely friendly and gave... More

Stopped there almost 20 yrs ago and was so charmed by this Inn. Always wanted to go back. Stayed recently for one night. The sofa bed had a blanket that must've been at least 20 yrs old. And matress of sofa bed was like sleeping directly on a bunch of coiled up springs :( It was embarrassing for me, as... More

Stopped here for a night to break a long Florida road trip! Really nice place from another era! Yes the building is dated but the rooms were clean and comfortable! Although 2 double beds in the room made it very cramped it was manageable for a night! Breakfast room was very dated and not welcoming but breakfast was better than... More
