If you are looking for cleasiness and a family resort, this is the place. We stayed in the villas and it was very clean and comfortable...they are even going through a major renovation, so I guess it will only be nicer. Lot's of activities for the kids to do and nightly entertainment for the adults. Your about a 10 min.... More

My boyfriend and I decided to experience our first timeshare sales pitch. Upon arriving we were booked in the hotel ACROSS the highway. We were told that there would be frequent bustrips across the highway from the motel but found NONE in our 4 day stay. We had to cross the 6 lane highway in order to use the amenities... More

Just returned from a week at Summer Bay with my family (5 total). Spent the week in a 2 bedroom villa as part of an RCI Timeshare exchange. Unit was a bit on the small side - the 2 bedroom villa's appear to be the smaller of the 2 bedroom units available at Summer Bay. Overall the condition of the... More

I booked this resort at a decent per night price through hotelkingdom and I couldn't have been happier. If you could separate all the reviews people have written about the timeshare/management and the actual resort itself I have no doubt it would score 5 stars, it's simply a lovely very clean resort. If you expect to stay here for pennies... More

I like many others was drawn to the pop up whilst surfing the web and took the unbielivable offer. Time came to book for Feb 2005 vacation and surprise $11 room tax per night was not included, as well as $159 port tax. Paid room tax, scrubbed the cruise, Daytona Beach and Cocoa Beach. Expensive 7 days @ £598 +... More

I found them through travelocity and paid 150/night for a 2 br villa. On their web site they have a villa and a condo listed wrong, so I got the smaller room when I thought I was getting the bigger one. The carpet was all stained and dirty looking (aren't you supposed to tile floors in the tropics?), there were... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Summer Bay Resort. It is clean, up to date and there is plenty to do for everyone in the family. It is also very close to all the area attractions. We would recommend this for couples or families. Very nice!

My husband called about a free 2-night hotel stay. The rep basically tried to sell a $398 vacation package which, on the surface, sounded terrific - except we didn't want it. The rep then passed my husband off onto a more agressive rep who (when my husband turned down the $398 offer) then refused to give my husband the 2... More

We just came back from what we thought was going to be a great week in Orlando getting to stay at the Summer Bay Resort. When we got there they said they were overbooked and we would stay at another one of there other resorts....Island Club Resort. What a dump. We would not have gone there if they would have... More

My family (2 adults, 1 teenager & 2 children) visited Summer Bay in August, 2004 - our first visit to Orlando. We booked with Hotel Kingdom for 8 days on the internet. We arrived around midnight, later than expected minus a lost suitcase en-route. Check-in took around 5 mins, which was fantastic as we had been travelling for 24 hours... More
