Absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. Not really near anything, but from what I saw, Clearwater is basically endless miles of indistinguishable malls anyway, so it probably doesn't matter. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and quiet. Less than $80 on the weekend seemed reasonable. Decent breakfast. Would definitely stay here again. more

Stayed at the Wyndham for just one night before heading over to the Belleview Biltmore. Be warned that the problems encountered at this hotel were mainly due to other / previous guests... Wingate Clearwater is not bad for typical traveler for business or leisure who just want a room and a decent free breakfast at a reasonable price.
