My husband and I recently stayed at this LQ for a week with our 2 children. It was the most awful experience we have had with a LQ. Upon arrival our room had live roaches. The front desk offered no resolve for the "bug" problem. We stayed due to there only being one roach. (My husband scoured the room from... More

My family and I had to stay here due to home improvement and because they allowed dogs. Room smelled like urine, the majority of the front desk staff was rude and when you interested their gossip sessions they were very angry. Breakfast was terrible and very dirty (people grabbing hard boiled eggs with their hands), breakfast workers very rude. Housekeeping... More

Sure, this hotel has seen better times. But it is still good ! The beaches are accessible in about 20minutes . There is food around the corner and as long as Jeff Baker works as AGM in this place, I am sure it will not turn into an "Exotic Mariegold Hotel"

Overall the stay was good. We were there for 3 days with our two dogs. Lots of grounds to walk the dogs. Hotel room was clean and the beds comfortable. They forgot soap and shampoo for the bathroom. A little bit of dust on the head board. Not a deal breaker. Breakfast fair. Overall good value and centrally located to... More

It was really nice, but the jacuzzi wasn't working. I have stayed there before and really liked it. It is close to 19 and clearwater and st. pete are close by. Staff are really nice and helpful too. I would repaint some of the rooms though just to freshen them up.

Spacious room. Very clean. My wife was crazy about the sheets and blankets -- extremely clean and comfy. So many hotels have quilts which are too thin and kind of iffy about being clean. The comforters for these beds were generous and fluffy and extremely clean. The sheets were clean -- without perfume (which we are allergic too). We were... More

For a La Quinta, we were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast selection. Bravo! Also, staff here are very nice and although the location is in a bit of a rundown area, the room was spacious, quiet and easy to get to. Cons: our carpet is very stained (room 105). We also find that LaQuinta skimps on towels... only one per... More

Close to highway & easy to find. Nice small pool, hot tub & very small gym. Staff very helpful & friendly. Nice breakfast included. Rooms need updating for sure. Room was clean, but carpet wasn't very clean. The rate was good so we stayed here. It isn't as nice as some other LQ's we've stayed in.

A better than usual LQ breakfast offering. The staff was great. The room was fine. Maintenance could be better. I would have felt better if the locks worked on the exit doors (as posted) but they don't. We love the no fee for bringing our dog. Feeding the kids at the free hotel breakfast is a huge plus. Minor issues... More

We stayed because the LaQuinta closer to our destination got terrible reviews. It was clean, food was okay but a bit sparse by the time we had breakfast. We were there to check out burial arrangement and wanted a place not far from the memorial park.
