I can't understand why Sea Captain Resort is rated so high in tripadvisor. It is just a shabby motel. Everything is old and shabby and looks dirty. The bed is not comfortable. The good side is that location is good, a short walk to beach, pier 60 and restaurants. more

Parking was close to room and easy. Excellent location, walk to restaurants and beach. Stayed in a king suite second floor. Room was clean and comfortable. Air-conditioning worked great. My family and I THOROUGHLY enjoyed our time at the SEA captain. it is right across the street from the beach, walking distance to restaurants of all types..the groundskeeper keeps the pool and the surrounding area Sooooooo clean!!
