Stayed at Camelot for the Thanksgiving weekend. The resort is in a great location, steps away from the nice and long Clearwater beach. We had a one bedroom unit on the second floor, which is super cozy and immediately feels like home. The room has everything we need and the resort is even equipped with a heated pool and a... More

We stayed at Camelot for fifteen days and it was all very good. We had a studio room, it was comfortable, convenient to everything; wifi and the parking were free. The kitchenette had all and it was very helpful. The location was the best, right in front of the beach. Vicki and the staff was friendly and accommodating, we had... More

The strong point is definitely the location, right in front of the beach. Studio apartments with rooms quite spacious and appear clean. Housekeeping only on request. Both me and my boyfriend were itching while in bed, don't know if that could come from the bed or maybe a bit of humidity in the room. They were painting the building during... More

We recently stayed at the Camelot for the weekend. We were pleasantly surprised at the hotel character. It was very clean, the staff were all super nice and accomodating. We had a room with two queen beds and a sleeper sofa, the beds were comfortable and the room was very big. Great to split with another couple. We LOVE the... More

My family had two condo-style rooms at the Camelot this weekend. One was a studio and one had 1bedroom, 2 bathrooms and a living room. We needed a pet friendly place and this was a great find! Both rooms were very clean and comfortable. They are well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The pool looked beautiful, but the... More

Very friendly staff and the pool is nice. Clean rooms and pool area, except mildew on shower curtain and mildew smell from a/c that made our clothes smell the next day. Beds are not very comfortable. The hotel is near some shops/bars but we didn't hear anything during the night. A short walk across the street to the beach. No... More

I don't normally stay in small independent hotels, but this was a recommendation of a friend and now I can confidently recommend it to my friends as a quaint, friendly, clean and convenient small hotel (24 rooms) with nice size rooms, kitchenettes, pool and a short walk to Clearwater Beach. The staff are great and no extra fees for parking,... More

My first stay at Camelot, on a recommendation from a friend who had been staying there for vacation for over four years. It was a very good recommendation. The staff was very kind and accommodating. Vickie, Bob, and Wendy are awesome! A small place, approx. 24 rooms, it was peaceful and cozy. We practically had the place to ourselves (it... More

We spent most of our vacation in Daytona Beach, but my daughter really wanted to see Winter @ Clearwater Marine Aquarium so we decided to stay in Clearwater for a few days before heading home to Indiana. The motel (I def wouldn't classify this as a hotel or condo) was conveniently located to the beach, and Vicki was very easy... More

You are correct, Clearwater Beach can be a difficult place to find free parking. You would be happy to know, Camelot offers more onsite free parking than almost every other small hotel in the area. We pride ourselves on our offer of free parking. When other properties charge guests an additional $15 a day per car...Camelot is still free. However,... More

We have stayed at Camelot and are headed there for a third time this summer. It is so comfortable, clean and convenient to everything. The staff is so friendly and always checks in to see if you need anything. Wendy and Vickie were there during our last stays and they made us feel like we were staying with friends. The... More
