I needed a place to stay for one night while on an extended road trip. Found this place online. The staff was friendly and accommodating, rooms were clean and nice and a good location. It was a good choice.

It was my second stay at this place. My friend and I spent 8 days at the Gem Tower for vacation. It was a few minutes waking distance from the most beautiful beach. Restaurants, entertainment and shopping centers are close by. Our room was cleaned every day, the beds comfortable, and the kitchen well supplied with pots, plates, cups and... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a relaxing 4 day vacation. Most places in the area were really expensive but this location was a reasonable price. Please note this is not a 5star chain hotel (for which you will pay ALOT of money for in Clearwater) but the room was comfortable, clean, and the owners were happy to help... More

Excellent location! Walking distance to the beach and to many stores and restaurants. The owners were very nice and helpful and made you feel like you were apart of their family. Friendly and safe environment. We had a great time and hope to be back again. Been there twice already and had a great experience each time. Definitely would recommend... More

I recently stayed here for a couple of nights last month. The affordable rates and the close proximity to the beach, shops, and restaurants were the main selling points. The room itself was utilitarian, but clean. The reserved parking and courtyard pool were appreciated, and the owners who run the place were helpful with suggestions for local restaurants. I would... While strolling along Clearwater beach on Labor day weekend, I found this gem right of the main road, off the beach. It's not a tower, but it's clean convenient and affordable without reservations. I now have a place to stay every time I decide to get away. BTW, it has a pool too and reserved parking. No ice machine, but... More

I stayed here with my father for one night while visiting relatives. Understand what you're getting here--this is not a 5 star hotel. Our room had definitely not been updated since it was built in the 50s (there was a Murphy unit in it, for reference), but it was reasonably clean, the lady at the front desk was polite and... More

I can walk alone outside on 11 pm. Because it's the tourists area. In front of this motel is Hyatt hotel. And cross the road is the beach walk... More

It was my sons 17th Bday who happens to be a great kid and deserves and nice time. I explained to to the owner that it was his bday and a couple of his friends may stop by - but are not staying. I also explained that we are respectable people and will act appropriate. She stated " Everything is... More

First of all, let's get things in perspective... This is not the Hyatt or Marriott. If that is what you're looking for... stop reading and move on... If you are looking for a budget stay, look no further... We stayed in a double queen, small apartment for around $100/night. Out of interest, I inquired at the Hyatt, which is basically... More
